Ich bin Montag auf Tour.
I'm on tour Monday.
Another one from my archives. I thought some colour might be needed seeing as it's the middle of January and a little bit of bokeh never goes amiss, does it? :-)
#MacroMondays and #BackInTheDay
The electron tube, also called radio tube, radio lamp or vacuum tube, was the first real electronic component,
I remember these lamps when an old tube radio had to be repaired, I was always there as a child because these lamps glowed so beautifully...
Top of my 40 year old fountain pen. Used daily in the past, today it is
just a memory of old times...
My mother's iron
The iron is still used, but is no longer suitable for the ironing of laundry.

While I wait outside the photographic studio, time passes by.
Something I found on the attic, something my mother surely still had used.
Finally this insecticide was forbidden in 2002, extremely poisonous and ecologically harmful.

A few years ago near Niagara on the Lake. This was also situated across from a flea market. Great location for some fun.

In our household pencils with rubber are totally extinct.

Captured here at f/32, ISO 100 for 15seconds.

Taken for the #MacroMondays and #BackInTheDay.
Was trying to find something obsolete for MM and thought of all the blank CDs I have that I never use anymore. Everything I listen to now is streamed. I realize that some places/people may still be using CDs so if this is too current, please give it the boot.
It amazes me how modern these seemed just 20 years ago and now they are just collecting dust.
I still remember just less than 4 decades ago when I visited my grandparants' place oil lamps were still widely used in the villages in China. Those faint lights filled the houses with warm color...
For Macro Monday's theme "Back in the day".
HMM!
A Microcassette is an audio storage medium introduced by Olympus in 1969. It uses the same width of magnetic tape as the Compact Cassette but in a much smaller container (Wiki).
Macro Mondays: Back In The Day
For Macro Mondays - Back In The Day.
An old audio cassette deck that hasn't been used for some years. When I was growing up they were the must have item.
Happy Macro Monday!
