This is the backcover of the Sanrio Deco book Anny Cheng made for me in a Swap-Bot trade. What we did was each make 2 deco books and send them to each other to fill... then we would send only the one back the artist had specifically asked for. This was Anny's chosen book for me. She made the book itself & decorated the front cover and left inside first page. The rest I filled in.

Ticket Stub collects all 9 issues of the beloved mini-comic zine series by critically-acclaimed cartoonist, Tim Hensley. In the 1990s, Tim typed subtitles for movies and broadcast television during his stint as a closed-caption editor. In darkened rooms lit only by a TV screen, he would cue up his favorite scenes and draw them into his sketchbook. No movie nor tv show, however classic or campy (ranging from Butterfield Eight to Big Momma’s House), was safe from his unique comic treatment. Mixing stark, powerful imagery with his distinct play on language, each page is dense with the Wally Gropius creator’s crisp, trademark linework. It’s truly a feast for the eyes.

made around 3 gifts from Davo [upper left & right + Snoop Dog wine label]; Vanity Fair's backcover ad for David Yurman practically compelled me to make it.
I have kept "scrapbook" style notebook "journals" since my first year in college (prior to that it was silly poetry or whatever in my high school sprial notebooks.)
For these, I have always used composition notebooks, dated the date of start and completion, and then store away for another time.
These are the covers (front and back) of the two most receent journals: one not commplete, and one so fat and done that it is held together with a pink file rubber band.
I scanned these covers, along with the following sample pages from the beginning pages of both journals for now - although, if I have a use for them (such as a consistant blog posting item, etc) - I may begin to scan more and more pages from past and present.
