Young fieldfare calling adult bird to get fed

Some cuteness for your Friday.

Some cute snuggly polar bears for your Monday. It is cold when even polar bears try and stay warm.

It was so sweet watching the interaction between this mother red fox and her kit. Capturing this in perfect evening light also made me very happy :-).

A brown bear and her cubs walk along the beach in Alaska.

This young Cooper's Hawk was playing peek-a-boo from behind a branch. Not sure if it is still young enough to be called an Eyas which is the name for baby hawks. The species was officially named by Charles Lucien Bonaparte in honor of his friend William Cooper in 1828.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers! I hope you have a special day!

This grizzly bear family had just crossed the street and was moving closer to where people were. The Ranger yells for everyone to get in their cars or come on the other side of the street. My husband and I happily got in our car as it was on the same side as the bears were. Well that bear family ended up hanging out in the field right next to our car for about a half hour. One of my favorite wildlife moments. What got the bears attention in this photo? A barking dog in someone's car driving by. The third cub is under mama bear.

This little red fox kit was not going to stay still to let its mother do some grooming! It was play time :-).

A polar bear family out and about.

A brown bear and her cubs sit on a sand bar waiting for a fish to swim by.

A young three toed sloth. I just thought he was the cutest thing! It had just rained, and he was all wet. Can you see the tiny water droplet on his nose?

Two adorable and curious great horned owl chicks.

Happy International Polar Bear Day February 27, 2022! A picture of my favorite polar bear family to celebrate the day.

Two great horned owl fledglings sit together as they discover a world away from the nest.

It was a year ago yesterday that I found this fawn hiding in this grass. Such a special sighting.

Two adorable raccoon kits peeking out of a tree cavity. Baby raccoons are up there on the top of the list for the cutest babies in my opinion!

A burrowing owl chick tilting its head while looking at me. It is so adorable when they do this :-).

Some cuteness for your Friday :-)! How cute is this little black bear cub?

Red fox (Vulpes vulpes) kit from island Zealand in Denmark, 28-05-2020.

The image was taken from a mobile low level Tragopan hide during my own private tour.

Thanks a lot, everyone, for stopping by, for looking my work, for your comments and likes! Always appreciated!

I think we all could use some cuteness today :-)! Two adorable red fox kits being as cute as can be.

Something funny for your Friday.

A mama raccoon and her three babies peeking out of their nest. It was getting a bit crowed in there :-).

A baby raccoon looks out of a tree cavity at the new and exciting surroundings.

I had an amazing trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons! One of the things high on my list to see was grizzly bear cubs of the year. I ended up seeing three different grizzly bears moms with coy and two different black bear moms with cubs of the year. I was in cub heaven :-). Thiis grizzly bear was seen in Grand Teton National Park. She is known as Blondie, and she showed up with three tiny cubs this year.

How cute is the cub hiding out under mama bear? He or she stayed there for a bit. I was safely in my car for this photo :-)!

Two common tern chicks screaming for food.

I was super excited to see and photograph burrowing owls with chicks. My husband and I found a few different nests and were able to witness some wonderful behavior. Here the chicks posed nicely in front of a pond.

A polar bear mama and her two cubs walk side by side. This is the closest encounter we had with the family and we were safely in a vehicle. It was a frigid cold day!
