"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....But the eye needs light to see, and damn it is getting dark"
Back to Naran to end the short trip and goodbye to the exotic valleys. Usually I am not firing my camera handheld in this much dark. But the landscapes of Naran won't let me sit back.
This shot is taken very dark. Thanks to the car being driven too slow for the possibility of this shot.
So many other shots could not make it due to bad light and car speed

The red-fronted serin or fire-fronted serin (Serinus pusillus) is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. It prefers high mountain regions and is 11–12 cm long.
This bird breeds in the Caucasus and the higher mountains of Turkey and Iran, with vagrants occasionally reaching the Greek Eastern Aegean Islands in winter. This bird is also found in Ladakh and other parts of the Indian Himalayas. Outside the breeding season, it occurs in small flocks, typically seen searching through thistle patches. It is a popular cagebird, and escapees from captivity are occasionally found throughout Europe.

Ghulam Mujtaba - my friend, a brother. Hosted me at his home in Mansehra for the whole tour. A great companion, a practical guy, a spiritual person and an awesome pal.
Standing at the super chilling Babusar Top , Mujtaba is not able to hold his body muscles to contract with his lips forming the "Too cold ooing whistle" :D
Clouds caught kissing the earth
Surely for every noticeable place I visit, I try to produce a writeup in the best manner possible. Babusar Top is one of the few places that made me do that pretty hard, seriously. I mean I really wanna tell the story about it
The place is a feast for wide angle shots and panoramas. People who wanna catch clouds kissing the earth would love it. The hugely spread deep terrain is awesome to view. The river paths, the curvy stream are awesome to watch from the top. Weather keeps rolliong and you may catch sunlight, heavy clouds, rain, sleet, almost everything in one day. By the way it was sunny when we reached and it was raining as we left.
I am not sure if there is camping site available as the story to follow would tell you how miserable I felt all the time photographing. Still I managed to spend an hour out in the cold, totally unprepared :-)
Reaching Babusar top made me go back in the car ASAP as the weather was so damn chilling. And to add to that, and as I was visiting it for the very first time, I had to cover alot of ground to make it to the view point. And that on foot :-)
The weather was seriously challenging. And I had nothing but a shirt jacket to cover my self. While me and brotgher Mujtaba (who had a decent Parka jacket with him) were trying our best to hide the killing chill, along with so many people in pretty much same condition, there were dare devilers wearing almost nothing. A white bearded old man was wearing a sea through thin cotton looked so comfortable to my surprise.
To add to the surprise was a shirtless bloke making pictures and in his own way challenging every body. And my palms, fingers, man everything was frozen :-)

Taken from the top of the Babusar Pass, at 13700 feet, looking south towards the start of the Kaghan Valley. In the cold, empty air, these piles of stone were in a perfect setting.
A lot like how I feel at the moment..... Desolate.
i took this shot in northern areas of Pakistan , near Naran Kaghan valley n this place is named as Babusar top.
They say that it is the bond of two mountains that gives birth to a valley. The Creator makes the river and its streams flow through the mountains, forming a beautiful corridor between the valleys.
The water enables the green treasure to come out, the sun shines and the treasure shines with it. The kind Cherisher makes the sky pour generously strengthening the green, the valley flourishes.
The Artist then gives a special touch to these mountains with the addition of fountains and waterfalls for the decoration. And for the valley’s crown, the King makes the mountains host mesmerizing lakes on their plateaus top.
Such is the creativity of ALLAH سبحانه و تعالى اللّٰه , The Creator , The Cherisher, The Creator, The Artist, The King. And such are his productions, Naran Kaghan, an absolute gem among them.
