Azur Air Boeing 737-900 VQ-BYO, East Midlands, 21st January 2023
Arrived from Cuidad Real, in Spain, and departed to Cairo the following day. Reason for the visit unknown but I suspect due to paperwork involving an aircraft in a Russian carrier's full livery.
Our BYO Nun is also a very talented Photographer, so when she saw the chance to photograph another Nun inside the convent she was all over it!!

He came as a replacement of a YK40 (not bad also) and was probably my highlight of that year.
I had one chance to make it because it was his last flights as a governmental plane..
Since he's stored at Kosice on a museum 😉.

Was slightly amused by the 35 degree angle parking. Not sure I've come across that previously, and I wondered if a fine would be issued for non-compliance with the stated angle.
A couple of vehicles parked along here during my time in town, and they both parked parallel to the kerb. Not a parking inspector in sight !!

Slovak Government Tupolev Tu-154M OM-BYO
"SSG4" arriving at BRU, quite a surprise as the new sistership OM-BYA made quite a number of appearances already in the few weeks of operations of that plane. I didn't mind the least to say. Waited for this very close encounter a long time but what a goodbye...or isn't it?

Spent the morning cycling up and down a mountain. I’m a weird cyclist who enjoys the up more than the down. And the sunrise at the top was worth it.
Oh, and I poured some water out of my water bottle. Hey, presto! It’s a puddle.

There is no such thing as the excitment of seeing an unexpected smoky Tupolev showing up on final! That friday morning in Bayswater Park was just perfect. Only the Belarus T154 would have made it better!
Sierra Sierra Golf 001 is seen on final for 04R in JFK on a positionning flight for the return of the Slovakian delegation after the UN General Assembly week.

As I was taking this capture of the snow on our deck our schnoodle walked into the frame ... so I made sure to include him in the capture. Just as I snapped his head moved too as ice fell off the door onto the floor.
After this capture I went out and cleared the deck ... easily 3 to 4 feet piled on it. Wanted to get that weight off. I also cleared a path for our dogs into the yard. Easily 20 to 24 inches out there at that time in the middle of the yard.
Since coming back in after that shoveling, it is STILL snowing hard, about two more inches has fallen on the deck since doing the fist clearing.
Will it EVER end ;)
