A story about the sun.
Just a couple of hours before the sunset and maybe an hour after it. That's the golden hour. That's when the sun gives to us its best light.. Not too strong, to wash away all the colors, not too weak so that you need artificial. Exactly the right amount of light and at its warmest tones. Sun glows beautifully making fancier and charming even the ugliest scene. And if you are an early bird, you can do that during sunrise, and feel "touched by light" as the sun blows away the darkness.

Μια ιστορία για τον ήλιο. Μερικές ώρες πριν το ηλιοβασίλεμα αντε και μια δύο μετά. Αυτή ειναι η χρυσή ώρα. Τότε ειναι που ο ήλιος μας δίνει το καλύτερό του φως. Όχι πολύ δυνατό ωστέ να κάνει τα πάντα να μοιάζουν ξεθωριασμένα, όχι πολύ αδύνατο ωστέ να χρειάζεται τεχνητό φως. Απλά η τέλεια ποσότητα φωτός και μάλλιστα στις πιο ζεστές θερμοκρασίες του. Ο ήλιος λάμπει όμορφα δίνοντας μια ωραία και εντυπωσιακή χροιά ακόμη και στην πιο άχαρη σκηνή. Κι αν είσαι και πρωινός τύπος, μπορεις να το κάνεις αυτό και στην ανατολή, νιώθοντας το αγγιγμα του φωτός του ηλίου καθώς διώχνει το σκοτάδι της νύχτας.

I hiked up a short grass lane that ended in front of this old barn that rests easy with memories of a time long past when it was young and relevant. There was no other building left on the site and only several leafless trees remained as winter approaches here in Minnesota. In the quietness I could hear the faint cries of children playing and the clanks of a farmer doing chores and then I realized the sounds were only in my mind.

I was following a flock of birds from around Mt.Fuji Interestingly, just as I was about to leave this frame, I felt the lead suddenly slow down.

As I was driving by this old barnyard, I noticed a few chickens hurriedly making their way across the yard to the shed. Then I spied the problem. A cocky rooster was purposely strutting toward the hens with just one thing on his mind. All I could think of was that the farmer bought a new young rooster and the hens were not pleased. I wish I could have watched what unfolded, but I was stopped in the middle of a country road (yet again). I can hear the ladies now, “We want old Mr. Doodledont back again.”
