UPY 700 and a SD70M leads the LPJ05 across the BNSF Aurora Sub. The diamond is known as “BX Xing”. The LPJ05 runs from West Chicago to Troy Grove, Illinois. I hadn’t shot a UP GP15-1 since 2016. Figured it was time to get some baby tunnel motor action back in my life!
Rare visitor to Birmingham on 15th March 1995 was this early model 747 in connection with the annual Cheltenham Festival of horse racing.
Half a dozen RR buses have been stationed at BX now as RR are suffering severely with driver shortages alongside staff sadly losing their life. E55/6 were originally BX vehicles and E70/2 were AL ones. These as quite evident were covering the peak trips on the 5, being laid over in BX for the meantime. E65 is another at BX being on the 101 which BX is covering full duties for.

Nice to see a dinger BX. Most are either immaculate or sporty. 203k miles of its last MOT and same owner since 2020
After a miserable weekend of weather and attendance at a show being postponed this brightned up a Monday morning. I'd be happy enough to see it in France, let alone here.
