Fantoft Stave Church (Norwegian: Fantoft stavkirke; Nynorsk: Fantoft stavkyrkje) is a reconstructed stave church in the Fana borough of the city of Bergen, Norway.[1]
The church was originally built around the year 1150 at Fortun in Sogn, a village near the inner or eastern end of Sognefjord.
In 1879, the new Fortun Church . . . was constructed as a replacement for the medieval stave church.
Fantoft Stave Church was threatened with demolition, as were hundreds of other stave churches in Norway.
Fantoft Stave Church was bought by consul Fredrik Georg Gade and saved by moving it in pieces to Fana near Bergen in 1883. Outside the church stands a stone cross from Tjora in Sola.[2][3]
On 6 June 1992, the church was destroyed by arson; the first in a string of church burnings by members of the early Norwegian black metal scene.
At first, the fire was thought to have been caused by lightning or an electrical failure.
In 1994, Varg Vikernes of the one-man band Burzum was found guilty of burning Old Åsane Church and Storetveit Church in Bergen, the burning of Skjold Church in Vindafjord, and the burning of Holmenkollen Chapel in Oslo. He was also charged with the burning of Fantoft stave church, although the jurors voted not guilty. The judges called this an error but did not overthrow the whole case.
Reconstruction of the church began soon after the fire and it took six years to build again. The reconstruction was completed in 1997.[4][5]
A photograph of the church's burnt shell appears on the cover of the 1993 Burzum EP Aske (Norwegian for "ashes").

According to Varg Vikernes, the sole member of Burzum, the church was burned as an act of retaliation on the Judeo-Christian religion for placing a Christian church on the sacred grounds.

Old Funeral was one of the first bands to form in the Norwegian extreme metal scene, getting its start in 1988. By 1992 the band had already dissolved, but since some of the former band members (such as Abbath and Demonaz of Immortal, and Varg Vikernes of Burzum) are now quite famous, Old Funeral has also gained recognition. Among their influences were Carcass (UK) and Morbid Angel (US).
To paraphrase Nargaroth:
"Katttt! Du fucking wankerzs! Katttt!"
Actually this is not my design but found randomly on Metal-Archives forum a few years ago.
new comic i drew months ago during a hospital stay on nice graph paper, printed last week, 32 pages, a6, black and white. i was listening to alot of ALAK and food for animals and burzum.

this young man was walking through the crowded shopping street. I asked for a picture, no he said. I said you're the salt in this hell, and he said you may take the picture.

Fantoft Stavkirke near Bergen, Norway. Probably the windiest and rainiest place on earth.
The church was famously burned down in summer of 1992 and rebuilt in 1997.
Say hello to my new Monster.
Ever since I lost Balbinka, I've been looking for a new piggie. And, well, here she is..
Some info:
She's 1 month old.
She's rather short-haired, but her dad was a US Teddy.
She's still VERY small, just a bit bigger than an adult syrian hamster ;)
She's getting tamer every day, though at first she was just paralysed with fear. Now she's quickly becoming a Real Monster. Shudder to think what will become of her when she grows up...
She loves cuddles!
And food.
Well, OK, that's all for now.
Hope you like her! :)

Пропускать широко известного в узких кругах Irisarri было бы преступлением, RAI записал примерно 9 эмбиент альбомов (скорее чуть больше), в том числе отличную пластинку 2019 — Solastalgia, отметился в >300 релизах других артистов, как продюсер или соучастник — один из ключевых персонажей (multi-instrumentalist, producer and media artist based in Seattle, WA) всей этой сцены, в СПб он выглядел как Paul Atreides из Dune или Galactic Emperor из SW, который решил сыграть угнетающий drone/ambient — на студийных записях всё это звучит не так мощно конечно, впечатлил;
к сожалению один из хэдлайнеров — итальянские адепты техно и cybernetics — Boston 168 (Sergio Pace, Vincenzo Ferramosca), не приехали, т.к. итальянская Почта (или контора делавшая визы) потеряла их паспорта — подставы с хэдлайнерами продолжаются, в прошлом году Ellen Allien сумела приехать в берлинский аэропорт, уже хорошо, но не смогла вылететь на PPF 2018, т.к. забыла паспорт, штош, бывает;
Surgeon — культовый британский персонаж середины 90-х впервые добрался до Петербурга и ожидаемо поставил всех на уши, интересно что на Boiler Room x Dekmantel Fest он играл в тишотке Burzum; не отстал от него и другой британец Samuel Kerridge с цепляющим techno drone сетом;
ещё один британский гость — Lucy Railton ловко соединяла виолончель с dots & loops, пожалуй самый необычный лайв;
испанец Oscar Mulero не особо впечатлил сбоку от сцены, где в основном был гул, а не крутые биты, но это совершенно не его проблема — просто набилось слишком много народа; Логоса заценил со второго этажа через эти огромные дыры в потолке, довольно необычно;
с детства фанатею от Sobranie 8 18 — после их концерта зимой 2017, с подсветкой а-ля Neon Demon, в заброшенном здании (где же ещё) в несуществующем уже (разумеется) заведении — Hook, если отмотать пару тысяч фоток назад, то вы сможете их найти, но это не точно, хотя на Электромеханике 2018 они отыграли ещё лучше, как мне показалось, посмотрим что будет с новым альбомом совсем скоро — одна из самых ожидаемых пластинок;
недооценённый в анонсах немецкий артист — The Exaltics (Robert Witschakowski или Heise), с характерным acid electro, там чего стоят только названия треков, типа 0998.0989.12, например, но до 5-го этажа смогли добраться не только лишь все;
The Empire Line (Northern Electronics + Posh Isolation) анонсировались в составе Varg (Jonas Rönnberg), Christian Stadsgaard (Damien Dubrovnik) и Isak Hansen (Iron Sight), но никто не написал, что вокалист — Iron Sight был арестован на Mayday @ København (во время майской антифа-демонстрации в Дании, как тебе такое) — собственно вся фишка проекта именно в этом брутальном напрочь зататуированном персонаже и если вы полистаете ленту The Empire Line, то там будет сплошной acab / fcuk the sys и police со свиными пятачками — у себя на странице они написали, что т.к. заранее вписались на летние фесты, то будут привлекать гостевых вокалистов и часть гонорара перечислять на счёт Хансена для компенсации юридических расходов, гостевой вокал я так и не послушал, свалив в начале их сета, между 6 и 7, т.к. уже вкл. автопилот;
A/V show на заводе в том виде как я его понимаю никто не показал, хотя визуал анонсировался — вероятно не хватило бюджета пригласить специальную студию; лучшими в этом плане были HPL Media Street Event 2015 @ Street Art Museum и концерт Carbon Based Lifeforms 2019 @ Planetarium #1, правда открытие G'19 прошло как раз в Планетарии, где состоялся аудиовизуальный перформанс Kazuya Nagaya + Ali M. Demirel, так что тем кто кое-кто и как и я хотел лицезреть A/V show надо было идти на открытие;
помимо музыки удивил арт-лабиринт на верхних этажах с ламповыми handmade инсталляциями, включая комнату с ёлками на потолке и ту где посередине росло дерево прямо из бетона, ночные виды с шестого этажа Factory тоже ничо — интересно что одно из окон на самом верху заколотили прямо во время феста, видимо во избежании случайных телепортаций, но я успел поснимать пока оно была распахнуто;
I Hate Models, сольный Varg, Module Werk, Slon и снова Surgeon, Soho и Kirn сыграли в Blank в вск — надеюсь вы не пропустили;
рад был со всеми встретился и увидеть всех этих артистов, публика тоже порадовала — всё было «просто» в хорошем смысле, так что #respect оргам, хотя им всегда есть к чему стремиться;
жаль если исчезнет эта прекрасная площадка на заводе им. Степана Разина, надеюсь её продали не застройщикам, а подарили миллениалам под некоммерческий abandoned loft;

Hey!
Ahahahah.. mica male come sport! Devo provarlo... ;)
Kisses
Yue
There are some things you can always depend on in this world. Death is always on the horizon. And Norway will always be the central hub of the black metal scene as we have come to associate it.

Here's a list of artists whose music is currently in my mobile sanctuary - my iPod / iTunes. As you can see, I'm all over the map when it comes to music. I listen to everything from classical to black metal to music from Nepal.
No, I didn't hand-type this list. And no, this list doesn't reflect my entire music collection.

"We started Helvete because it's exactly the kind of shop I should like to buy records myself, and we only had a couple of bad shops selling trendy Death Metal and Disco. A few months ago we had to close it down because of all the journalists after the arrest of Count Grishnackh (BURZUM). But we will open again soon at another place. The records sold ok, but it was going better all the time." (Euronymous)
Lake Skadar seen from the mountainous road above, at dusk. This scene was a most delicious food for my eyes&soul...watching the photo later I, once more, realized that no camera, no perfect lens or photographic experience could ever present this beauty in an image, compared to the real experience. And you know what? I'm happy about that.
The same moment and place seen through another pair of eyes (and camera) :)
"This is Burzum in Norway: officially it doesn't exist and has never existed either, and if it once did exist it surely played no important part in any context. Burzum has been erased from the history of metal music in Norway, by the left-wing extremists who control the Norwegian media. On one side this is fascinating, as we are actually witnessing a falsification of history as it happens..." (Varg)

An illustration preserving the chaotic, brutal, and ugly aesthetic of black metal. I needed to un-purify my art after creating that Muse poster...
