As the burning afterglow was followed by the tender night, we walked an alley of whispering trees, enthusiastic they whispered our words of love and promises, our manifest only became more valid passing from branch to branch, the moon was high and the stars shining bright as you lead me to the bench next to the silver river, slowly it passed, reflecting our peace and harmony, soon a magic silent glittering surrounded us, I felt so safe and peaceful in your arms, the world seemed to disappear as a fluffy cloud embraces the moon, and so did I, as your lips gently touched mine
The sky was really beautiful. Too bad, I couldn't find anything better than these power lines for the foreground.

On the final night of the temple burn, about 80,000 people ride their bikes out across the desert at sunset to await the final inferno. It's actually quite the somber night... people leave things in the temple as a symbol of letting things go. 80,000 people, all letting things go together, is quite a transformative experience.

I don't remember this lady's name, but I thought she looked a lot like Gal Gadot. I usually try to exchange information with people I take photos of, but here's another one that slipped between the cracks! I think I took this during the Bunny march and I was quite distracted taking hundreds of photos like a crazy person.

This photo was taken on one of my last trips. Well accompanied by a fellow friend and photographer had the pleasure of visiting some spots I had in my "short list". One of those places was the Chapel of Senhor da Pedra in Miramar ... it was worth it, is indeed a magical place at all levels.

Out of the 8,000 photos I took, I'll probably only publish 20-30. I end up adding the rest to my overall Burning Man portfolio over at stuckincustoms.smugmug.com/Burning-Man - So far, I haven't added any from 2018, but I will after I make a final pass. By the way, most of those 8,000 photos are complete garbage! I usually try a lot of different things until something works... so 98% of those are utter failures!

BFTP 12: Photo taken of a buddy's Firepit in Phoenix, Az. A tradition for us was to build a fire, drink Jack N Cokes and relax. Good times.
