This little cutie is one of five adventurous ducklings recently born to an injured duck in Bushy Park pond. Mum had a hard job keeping track of them as they skittered around exploring their dangerous new world.

Update: When I arrived at Bushy Park this morning I saw a heron swooping over the pond with what looked like a duckling in its beak, but when I put the photos onto my computer and blew them up I saw it was a fish. Mother duck's protection attacks on the bigger bird have been successful up to now.

"Almost Alien"

The theme is Bubbles. I made bubbles in a bowl, put the camera (waterproof) in the water face up, and played three lights (red, blue, green) over the top of the bubbles. When I liked the colour and lighting arrangement of my picture, I clicked the remote shutter (phone app) and 'voila'.

Candid eye contact shot taken in Glasgow, Scotland. An unsuspecting street performer about to start a routine in front of a mural - I couldn't resist with the bubbles and flames - enjoy!

windy winters afternoon chasing bubbles around the backyard for about an hour, 98% of pics out of focus. Stoked to have been selected for "in explore" as i am still very new to flickr and macro photography.

Nivea sells a shampoo that has bubbles suspended in it. very convenient! I tried quite a few things for this subject, this picture has oil (ascending below the bubble in the middle), sugars, glitter, lipstick and a couple of different shampoos. It was fun.

imagine the scene.. me trying to first blow the bubbles, then quickly grab my camera and try to snap them before the dogs pop them. they go crazy for bubbles! just like little kids like to pop them... it is way funny actually.

And here I thought I found the perfect spot for a bubble bath.

I hope this is abstract enough. This is really not my cup of tea.

Kids had a lot of fun at Roßmarkt in Frankfurt (Germany) where a man with a special device produced huge bubbles.
