After the 'Dust and Dance' series.
Here's a fourth image from a new 'Dust and Fight' series!
I wanted to change the colors of the outfits for this one, just so I saw what it could have looked like. But I happened like it so I kept it like that... :-)

J'ai voulu changer les couleurs des tenues pour celle-ci, juste pour voir ce que ça aurait pu donner, mais comme je l'ai finalement bien aimée comme ça, j'ai gardé le photo comme ça... :-)

This is what the set up looked like. Cotton wadding from medicine bottles stuck with sticky tack to the dragon and castle.
I put a Ulanzi Light behind the drawbridge door and pointed it with a snout at the cotton wadding.
I turned off the overhead light and used another small Ulanzi light to light up the dragon's face.
Both photos were shot with a Lensbaby Sweet 50 with an f stop of 4.
The cotton 'fire' was enhanced slightly with dynamic contrast in DxO labs.
How many times did I do this before getting a successful shot?
About 20!
I learned about using cotton balls while pursuing Lego photos in both Flickr, Instagram, and FB Lego photos.
This took up my Sunday afternoon while we had rain, fog, mist, and ice outside.

The 45 TD class Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/2R Duple Dominant IV Expresses supplied to London Country in 1983 are amongst my all time favourite vehicles. By 22nd June, 1991, TD20 (YPD 120Y) had moved on to BTS, Borehamwood, and was on a day out to Brighton.
This is the place I hike to for a lot of my photos.
It is a 1/4 mile from our house and is in our valley. The light and reflections are so beautiful when we have water in our little creek.
The white arrow points to where Glenda was standing.
From the last photoshoot this year. Found this cool location with walls made of different colors and textures. It was pitch black with no electricity, so modeling light from Pro-7B and flashlight applications from smartphones saved again the day. Photos coming later. Happy new year!
Former double-deck full-height AEC Routemaster Park Royal in company depot at Borehamwood Hertfordshire June 1994, and used as an engineering support and towing vehicle . New in 1959 to London Transport.

On December 4th 1993 BTS Coaches based at Borehamwood commenced operation of tendered route 13 running between Golders Green and Aldwych. It utilised twenty two RMLs leased from London Buses. Seen here on March 5th 1994 at Golders Green bus station is RML2686 (SMK 686F).

This was actually a pretty challenging shot to pull off. All I had to work with is your typical tub/shower unit which makes things a little cramped. As you can see, the camera (1) is right up against of the shower wall which made framing the shot almost impossible until I found this sweet freeware program DIYPhotoBits Camera Control which allowed me to remote tether the camera and even change the settings right from the computer. I used my trusty DIY camera raincoat which is nothing more than a dry cleaner bag attached to the lens hood to keep the camera dry. The yardstick (3) was clamped to the shower curtain because it turned out that the shower head would drip water perfectly onto the lens hood and had the potential of getting in the lens. This way the water ran down the yardstick. The scrub brush (4) was used to counterbalance the yardstick (3) so it would stay in the right place! The flash (2) was clamped to the shower head tube and remotely triggered.
So this is basically how it went and I have to thank Julia once again for helping because it would have been almost impossible to do without her help.
I would turn on the water and get into position. I am 6'1" and I had to kinda squat down with my back against the wall to get low enough for the water to hit my face. If you look you can see the shower head is pointed completely horizontal.
Once I got into position Julia would lift the small piece of Glad Press'n Seal (5) that was keeping any water that might bounce back from getting on the lens out of the way and hit the button on the remote. Once it clicked she would let it back down I turn off the water then check the image on the computer.
Repeat this process about 15 times trying to get a good shot and all the while trying to not flood the bathroom.
I also posted an SOOC shot in the comments so you can see just how little space there actually was. But with a little PhotoShop magic it looks like a have a sweet huge shower :)
Thats about as Ghetto as it gets :)
