At the time of this shot I had no idea I was in the presence of a true celebrity!

For those outside the UK, here's a bit about Hamish, his rise to fame and ultimate demise:

This was shot on a car trip from Edinburgh to Loch Ness. Third best way to travel in my opinion with a ship being first and a caravan being second!

Zürich-Kloten (ZRH/LSZH)

This Super DC-8 was built as EC-BSE for Iberia in 1970, and in April 1981 was transferred to partner airline Aviaco, which was founded in 1948 and initially operated regional passenger services, mainly in northern Spain.

With the acquisition of DC-8s and DC-9s, Aviaco operated a growing number of charter services, mainly from Palma and Las Palmas. The DC-8-63s were used on high-densitiy charters, and became regulars at Zürich.

EC-BSE was captured firmly touching down on runway 28 on a windy afternoon, completing a charter from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It carried an elegant revised livery and 1982 FIFA World Cup insignias, and was named "Playa de las Canteras", after the famous Las Palmas urban beach.

EC-BSE's career with Aviaco was rather short, as in 1983 it was sold to the USA, and was later converted to a freighter for Airborne Express/ABX Air. By 2005 the DC-8 was withdrawn from use at Cincinnati, and eventually broken-up there.

The Rajabai Tower is a clock tower in South Mumbai, India. It is located in the confines of the Fort campus of the University of Mumbai. The tower stands at a height of 85 m (280 ft). Coordinates: 18°55′46.71″N, 72°49′47.95″E.

The Rajabai tower was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, an English architect. It was modelled on Big Ben, the clock tower of the UK houses of Parliament in London.

The foundation stone was laid on March 1, 1869 and construction was completed in November 1878. The total cost of construction came to Rs. 2 lakhs (Rs. 200,000), a princely sum in those days. This entire cost was defrayed by Premchand Roychand, a prosperous broker who founded the Bombay Stock Exchange on the condition that the tower be named after his mother Rajabai.

Premchand Roychand's mother was blind and as a staunch follower of Jain religion she was supposed to consume her dinner before evening. The evening bell of the tower helped her to know the time without anyone's help.

The Bombay Stock Exchange Limited or BSE is the oldest stock exchange in Asia. It is also the biggest stock exchange in the world in terms of listed companies with 4,800 listed companies as of August 2007. It is located at Dalal Street, Mumbai, India.

A competition had been held for the design and Hoare's plan of 1913 accepted as a result. Due to delays land was not secured until 1919 and although the plans where amended in 1930 building work (by local firm Garlick's) did not start until 1933.

The building was finished in time for its official opening - by The Duke of York - on the 10th of December 1935.
