Cushla taking in the summer sea breeze on the Kilve Coast, situated on the outskirts of the Quantock hills, north Somerset.

I love the sunflower -- it's beautiful and it gives us all kinds of foods, like oil and seeds. This one was growing wild, probably from a seed dropped by a bird or squirrel. Or maybe this is some wild variety.

It has come to my attention that I have neglected to abide by a sacred Flickr rule…that is, anyone who shoots flower macros “must have at least one (1) Spring dandelion image on his or her stream.”

So here’s mine.

However, I have decided to flagrantly disobey rule #35a, which states “the said image must be titled something punny, like “fine and dandy”.”

On second thought, that’s kind of a cute title, huh?!

Hmmm… maybe for my next one…
