The restaurant´s picturesque location by Siglufjord marina creates the opportunity for its guests to view local fishermen bring in their catch of the day, which later might end on Hannes Boy´s dishes.
The name, Hannes Boy, comes from an old sailor that used to spend his time outside of the newly renovated houses. He was popular with the locals and the kids which is where he got his name “BOY” from.
Good Boy Cat, as his name suggests, is one of the best cats in the world, kind, very affectionate, cuddly, he loves to chat, he has all the qualities of a good boy except he doesn't know how to make coffee!
It is the most difficult animal to photograph !

A Winning Formula
Take a kilo of boilies and put them in a clear large freezer bag. Add 20ml Cloudy Krill Liquid, and 10 ml Oyster sauce. I do add two other things in low amounts. One being a fish oil, but even McDonalds, and KFC don't give all their secrets away.....Lol
Shuffle the baits about in the bag. Leave them in there for twenty minutes. Then pour the baits out onto a towel. Leaving the boilies to soak in some of the moisture from the liquids. The boilies start to re-harden in the air also.
Though when pulting baits out, you will create a boile slick. The oils, and flavours start to rise up off of the bottom, you end up with strands of flavourings rising from bottom of lake or river bed, to the surface. So fish can home in on your baits much quicker. So anything swimming past. Can't fail to smell it, because the smell ends up at all depths, and then hopefully the fish investigate where the main source of feed is.
I have found using such a method not only attracts fish, but even their natural food sources like snails, and blood worms. Which just makes an even better chance of catching.
Not only the carp seem to love it, but so do the catfish.
Blue has always been my favourite colour, so I love to wear it now and again.

The sun came out today. A Tall Ships panorama at Holmsgarth, Lerwick. The Boy Leslie, a 1911 trawler is on the right. On the left, the Atene, a schooner from Sweden, dating from 1903.
