Bought advance tix for “Moonage Daydream” in IMAX. Will be attending with the biggest Bowie fan you or I know.
A new image from July 20th, one of those epic days that started off with me having big regrets missing a gorgeous, lightning-filled sunset near Willcox...as Asher and I were just about 30 minutes behind. But the storms kept going and we sat here in Bowie, AZ for like 30-40 minutes, watching the storm move across the Chiricahua's and drop bolt after bolt. If you know where Bowie is, you are practically in NM...and after this spot, we kept chasing back west and eventually would STILL be going at sunrise west of Phoenix. Was quite a night to remember, Asher was a trooper even if he wouldn't fall asleep until 4am!
11x14 watercolor. This is a portrait of my little dog Bowie. I've puttered with it forever but you sometimes just have to STOP. He's a sweet little guy.
This is the back end of Sotheby's auction house. In November they will auction work from David Bowie's private art collection. George Street in the Mayfair district of London. July 2017.
First day home. Sometimes life is extremely challenging. I've had no chance to paint as I sold a house, bought a house, lost my sweet dog Jack to liver cancer and old age, lost my sister in law and of course moved. This is my new boy, Bowie who I rescued from the Humane Society. He's so sweet!! Unpacking one box at a time......
This dress is knitted from the hair of my sweet dog Bowie :o)
Thank you Bowie, for giving some of your hair to make this dress:o)

On my way to Chiricahua National Monument, I passed through the dying town of Bowie and this abandoned gas station caught my eye.
Alas, my photographic exploits have encountered a considerable setback. Someone stole my Nikon D810 last night in Tucson. Major bummer. Though I've had way too many unfortunate encounters with low-life thieves to count, I still believe that most people are much better than that. Though I wonder how it is that I run into so many of these scumbags. Oh well. Come Monday (why did it have to happen on a weekend?), I plan on ordering a new camera, sent overnight, to replace the 810. I really liked that camera, and it still only had about 18,000 shutter activations. Not sure if I'll purchase another 810, or go for the 850. In the past, every time someone stole my camera (or in one case, it simply gave up the ghost), I've always upgraded. It's tempting to do that here, but on the other hand, adjusting to a new camera while on vacation would be a bit of a pain. We'll see. One thing's for sure, I'm not letting that asshole ruin my vacation, or the pursuit of better photos.
just caught him as his eyes were about to close into a sleepy dream, from the light of the kitchen window...........is it bowie? or bronson.?...these days its getting harder to make out.....lol..
what an era !! . being 11 and discovering music . the music of the day was Glam .
it must be the weirdest era in modern music ; androgyny , aliens , men in leopard skin tights and glitter makeup etc .
Bowie , Roxy music , T Rex , Gary Glitter , Slade . I loved it .. RIP Mr Jones
Happy Birthday to one of my heroes. I got the opportunity to team up with my amazing friend/MUA Nicole to create a classic David Bowie look, in homage to his iconic work. We decided to focus on one my favourite eras of his: Ziggy Stardust/Aladdin Sane.
Every year I try and create something inspired by Bowie, and this year I felt like having some fun and embracing is colourful and creative side.
