Just before you cross the border from British Columbia into Alaska at White Pass, a wonderful vista opens up across Summit Lake to the Boundary Ranges in the southeast.

A cricket match was in full swing at one end of the estate. The batsman has clouted the latest delivery to the boundary. The sheep in the prime position to watch seem pretty unimpressed.

When a day starts like this you know it will be exciting, especially if your with a ripper like Nick. Mornings should start with a positive mind as they set the boundaries for the coming day (my boundaries were a little big as I concussed myself a few hours later). On top of the Waitakere ranges, New Zealand.
Miles and miles of drystone wall crisscross the fields and mountains of the Lake District. The craftsmanship involved in making the walls, not to mention the enormous volume of stone required, is remarkable. The stone harmonizes with the landscape and makes for an attractive juxtaposition of the natural and the man-made that is all too rare.
This small suburban National Park is part of my 5km radius and has a rather steep Boundary walk. The park itself has the large high voltage transmission lines marching through it, up and over the hill down to more Melbourne suburbs. The path is steeper than it looks!
Beach Grove, Delta, British Columbia, Canada
Boundary Bay is bounded to the east by the city of Blaine in Washington and the cities White Rock and Surrey in British Columbia. It is also bounded to the east by the reserves of the Semiahmoo First Nation in British Columbia. To the north, it is bounded by the City of Delta. To the west, it is bounded by the Tsawwassen Peninsula, which contains the communities of Tsawwassen (a suburb of Delta) and Point Roberts, Washington (a pene-exclave of the United States). To the south, it is bounded by the Strait of Georgia, the northern arm of the larger Salish Sea.
On June 21, 1995, the entire Canadian portion of Boundary Bay was protected within the Boundary Bay Wildlife Management Area.
I heard a thud...and there it was on my doormat, my new book had arrived. The Peak district boundary walk is a 190 mile walk around the edge of the national park..At our slow pace it should take us a year to walk [ in sections]...No hurry....Roll on next sunday, when we can get started.
You got to be careful after going through this gate as it the trackbed of world famous snowdon mountain railway.
The lane running above Earl Sterndale forms the boundary of the Peak District National Park. The trees are outside of the park and mask the extensive quarrying taking place in the area.
Boundaries
The start of what will hopefully become a new series focusing on old trackways and boundaries. This from an old track near Lower Freystrop, Pembrokeshire. I tend to avoid it as it is normally a quagmire, but it's been so dry that there are only a couple of muddy sections.
This old fence use to be a boundary between fields, but now it just a line to an old windmill tower. The early morning sun is bathing the scene in red light.

Deeryard Lake, a typical lake of the Minnesota Arrowhead region and of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. On a day like this you can almost hear the voyageurs paddle songs ringing down the lake and through the woods. 20230630_DJI_0113
The first boundary route of many is the U9.
This route runs from Uxbridge to the village of Harefield a few miles north west of the town. It is a heavily relied on route, as it is often more reliable than the less direct 331. The route also serves some of Londons greenest and prettiest distant outposts.
Abellio London West's KX06LYT (8114) turns at the Harefield West loop before running onto Harefield Hospital and eventually, Uxbridge.
