The color of this small bottle reminds me of the antiseptic Mercurochrome popular for small cuts and skin infections a generation ago. Stings like the crazy when applied and stains the skin around the wound approximately this color.
Happy Macro Monday! Challenge: bottles
I decided to capture the bottle of the perfume that my wife loves more. I focused on the glass (top left), where some details are made more visible by using a led torch. I hope that you will like the result, my friends! ;-)
P.S. After taking the shot, I noticed that, within the theme description, it is stated "no labels". The label is present in this pic but it is out of focus... in any case, if this
is not acceptable to the admins, it is ok for me to remove this image from the group.
What a wonderful way to be awakened, by light! The pinkish/orangish hues drifting into my room lingered on my wall. It jolted me out of bed and pulled me out into the frigid air to witness the beautiful sky right before the sunrise. In this image the sky was already starting to fade, losing the bold pink that it held just seconds prior. I wanted to capture the feeling/color/mood/peace because I knew it wouldn't last but only in my mind and a photo.

The lamp section shown here is about 2¾" (69.9mm) tall.

There is something about the quality of the bokeh that this lens is producing with macro photographs
I am beginning to see the possibilities with this odd lens and now that I have fitted a helicoid focussing ring between lens and camera focussing is a bit easier. At f1.2 the depth of field is small and the lens is always 'fully open' as it has no aperture blades.
