The team spent three days in Rome Sept 24-26. The visit included a soccer match between BOSS participants and the Vatican Swiss Guards, sightseeing and a special tour of the Vatican, which included a special Mass and a papal audience.

The boss of Waya Lailai (who requested a photo writing on his clipboard). Waya Lailai was unusual because it was entirely community-run - all the money went back into the local village and it had no outside assistance whatsoever. Berry told me that earnings from the resort had paid for a school, a church, and numerous repairs and additions to the village, and that theirs was a much sought-after place to live.
