When I saw it, I could not believe my eyes. This posture has something of "who is here the boss". It lacks only the couch. The muscular upper arms contribute to the effect. It looks very funny. What do you think?
With a serious antler rack and huge body mass, this was likely the boss bull of the area. He was keeping three cows close and when another, less impressive bull approached, this guy came marching out of the dense willows and the other bull quickly departed.

The title is a pun since 'boss' is also a term used for the continuous bone shield across the top of the head of Cape buffalo. The muddy Cape buffalo (Syncerus caffer) was grazing on the fresh grasses of Ngorongoro Caldera, Tanzania, during the rainy season. The crater rim can be seen in the background.

I met this handsome herring gull whilst drinking to excess at the Ye Olde Cross Keys in Aldeburgh, which is nicely situated by the beach. "Drink, Jonathan! Drink!" he probably said, mesmerising me with his brindle green eye. Excellent advice taken, thanks very much :)

Hagland Boss (IMO 9171058), a Maltese registered general cargo vessel built at Slovenské Komárno (SLKB), Slovakia in 1997, sails up Lowestoft's inner harbour.

The centre of the Christian diocese of the anglo-saxon kingdom of Mercia was relocated to Lichfield from Repton in Derbyshire in 669 by the then-bishop of Mercia, Chad.
The existing gothic-style cathedral of Lichfield was begun at the end of the 12th century AD, and these bosses are believed to date from around this time.
