Het Rozemarijnstraatje is, een van de oudste steegjes van de stad Den Bosch (1225). Dit van oorsprong op de Binnendieze doodlopende straatje is voortgekomen uit het feit dat de eerste stadsmuur toegankelijk moest zijn. Achter de weergang, het verloop van de muur volgend, ontstond dit straatje. Wordt tot het middeleeuwse stratenpatroon gerekend. Het dankt zijn naam waarschijnlijk aan iemand die daar woonde en die rozemarijnkransjes maakte.

The Rozemarijnstraatje is one of the oldest alleyways in the city of Den Bosch (1225). Four torturers surround Christ, pressing towards him, while he looks out at us. Bosch's picture emphasises the contrast between the brutality of the tormentors and the mild, suffering Christ. Its emotional intensity is achieved in a variety of ways. The half-length figures create a sense of proximity, and the lack of recession in the painting makes it appear very claustrophobic. From the centre of the picture Christ seems to appeal to us to share in his suffering.
The characterisations here are not just grotesque, but reflect specific ideas. Christ's torturers were often referred to as savage beasts, which may explain why the man at the top right appears to wear a spiked dog collar. The figure at the lower left has a crescent moon of Islam and yellow star of the Jews on his head-dress, which mark him as an opponent of Christianity.

Het Paleiskwartier in Den Bosch is gelegen achter het Centraal Station van Den Bosch. Gebouwd op het voormalige bedrijventerrein de Wolfsdonken. In de jaren dertig werd het moerassige karakter opgeheven door zand uit de Ertsveldplas te gebruiken. Dit bedrijventerrein is ontstaan na de Tweede Wereldoorlog, hier vond men onder andere de Gruyter en Interpharm. In de jaren tachtig werd het bedrijventerrein als verouderd gezien en voldeed de infrastructuur niet aan de huidige wensen. Daar kwam verandering in. Tegenwoordig vind men hier namelijk een fraai stukje moderne architectuur door onder andere kantoorgebouw Riva, appartementencomplexen Armada en het Paleis van Justitie.

De bolwoningen zijn bolvormige woningen op een kolom in de Maaspoort te 's-Hertogenbosch. Ze werden eind jaren 1970 ontworpen door Dries Kreijkamp en gebouwd in de jaren 1980.
De vijftig woningen zijn de laatste woningen die werden betaald uit de subsidies voor experimenteel bouwen, zoals die in 1968 werden ingesteld. Werden bij andere experimenten nieuwe indelingen of een nieuwe sociale omgeving uitgeprobeerd, hier ging het vooral om de vorm van de woningen, zoals ook bij de kubuswoningen in Helmond en elders het geval is. De bijna buitenaardse vormen worden nog eens extra benadrukt doordat ze aan de rand van een gewone nieuwbouwwijk staan. De bolwoning leverde ook een onconventionele en afwijkende plattegrond op. Toilet en badkamer zijn in het midden van de bol geplaatst, de woonkamer is boven gelegen en de slaapkamers beneden.
Door bemoeienis van de betrokken woningcorporatie en vanwege de plaatselijke wet- en regelgeving diende Kreijkamp aanpassing op aanpassing uit te voeren en ging veel van de aanvankelijke glans verloren. Zo werden de bollen voor de brandveiligheid uitgevoerd in vezel versterkt cementbeton in plaats van polyester. De vloeren werden van beton in plaats van hout. Aan de bol werd een cilindervormig basement toegevoegd met entreehal in plaats van dat mensen direct in de bol zouden binnenkomen.

Bosch is one of the most fascinating and puzzling artists in history. "The Garden of Earthly Delights" is his most famous work, often debated on its meaning, and one of his triptychs.
"The triptych is painted in oil on oak and is formed from a square middle panel flanked by two other oak rectangular wings that close over the center as shutters. The outer wings, when folded, show a grisaille painting of the earth during the biblical narrative of Creation. The three scenes of the inner triptych are probably (but not necessarily) intended to be read chronologically from left to right. The left panel depicts God presenting Eve to Adam, the central panel is a broad panorama of socially engaged nude figures, fantastical animals, oversize fruit and hybrid stone formations. The right panel is a hellscape and portrays the torments of damnation."
Art historians and critics frequently interpret the painting as a didactic warning on the perils of life's temptations. However, the intricacy of its symbolism, particularly that of the central panel, has led to a wide range of scholarly interpretations over the centuries.Twentieth-century art historians are divided as to whether the triptych's central panel is a moral warning or a panorama of paradise lost.
