I do not know how about you but if you are born and grew up somewhere than whole world is measured to that experience, meaning if you are from Gent anywhere you go you'll try to find Gent back and that will be very difficult task.
As many of you know I'm from Prague and anywhere i go I literealy look to find Prague back, there is a street in Utrecht where I have found it back, there are spots in London, Paris or Berlin too even in Rome and yes there is one beautiful medieval building at the river in Gent where I have found Prague back too.
A Mayfly emerges from it's old life as a nymph living beneath the water to a new brief life on the wing where it will start the next generation.

Natures Tapestry Photo Adventure Tours will be leaving next week for the Pantanal, Brazil.
One of my favorite species to see is the Hyacinth Macaw. It is a vibrant cobalt blue and can be seen soaring the skies . Born Free. What an awesome sight. Their color is so electric when the sun shines down on them and it almost takes your breath away,

As the sun began to set and the clouds continued to jostle about, one of the Trail Islands was crowned with color. A beautiful sight, all I needed was a foreground element.
Down the beach was a trunk that had washed up years ago. It had three roots protruding. I place my tripod on the top of the flattened trunk showing only the roots. While there, some stray light touched down, and the image was born.

One of the huge landfill in Bangladesh, which is operated both adults and children. They have no future ....... Their whole life is a bulkhead colored debris. Living there is the same in tents.
Unsanitary and a terrible stench they are no longer afraid of, they are the other life have not seen ......... Huge crows create unhealthy competition.
It is difficult to describe in words what I felt being there ........ probably, if on the earth is nether world , then it looks that way. And I was there!
I understood that with one photo it is very difficult to show what I saw there. Then I got the idea to make a report. Each time, returning to these pictures, I again experienced those emotions and lumps in my throat ... until now.

Одна из гигантских мусорных свалок в Бангладеш, на которой работают как взрослые, так и дети. У них нет будущего....... Вся их жизнь заключается в переборке цветного мусора. Живут там-же в палатках.
Антисанитария и страшная вонь их уже не пугает, они другой жизни не видели......... Огромные вороны и коршуны создают нездоровую конкуренцию.

Whitetail Deer Fawn probably less than a day old quietly blending into the forest floor near where I walk Orion.
Newborn fawns are defenseless. When confronted with a possible threat, they can only lay motionless depending on their camouflage coloration and lack of scent for protection.
It works, too.
Orion (my Vizsla, sporting dog) passed within a meter of this critter without alerting. I almost missed it too, but caught a glimpse and quickly took the photograph. Since Orion did not notice and I left it undisturbed, it should be OK. Next Spring, it will probably be part of our local deer herd dining on my neighbor's delicate Hostas.
While it's always a surprise to discover a fawn in the woods, the event is somewhat common this time of the year.
A greater roadrunner with a golden aura pauses while patrolling the grasslands and woodlands of Bosque del Apache in south central New Mexico. Just a few minutes before stopping to admire this wonderful desert specialist we saw a pair of coyotes trotting along the road. One of them was carrying a box from Acme labeled "danger high explosives." (we actually did see the coyotes)
