So far, today is slow in my store which isn't a good thing in sales, but it's also in the 80's in here because (once again) the AC is out! I suppose it's for the best that it's slow. Hopefully, the guy will be here in a couple of hours and will be able to fix whatever is wrong. This is one of the 3 biggest sales of the year for mattresses, so I'm really hoping!
From tomorrow until probably the end of next week, I will be off more than on, so I hope to catch up with you then!

Just when I thought I was done for the day...
A move the dispatcher referred to as the "unit train" grinds upgrade out of Ray Junction, AZ for the copper mine at Ray, running close behind the empty ore train. This train appeared to consist of four loads of sulfuric acid, used in the smelting process, with five spacer cars each in front and back of the loads.

Out with the better half to meet some friends for lunch, which luckily turned into a 3.5 hour chat. Perfect timing to head south for 5 more minutes to meet 934 along the coast in postcard weather.

If the pronghorn's coloration isn't sufficient camouflage, the pointy things on its head should help it blend right in where just about every growing thing has points. Along Highway 90 outside Marathon, Texas.
A morning walk around the path near school had a beautiful sunrise this morning with interesting clouds spread across the sky. It was a bonus that I had my wide angle lens in the bag so it turned into a photography walk and celebrating the beauty of creation.
During processing in Topaz Studio 2, a strange thing happened. When applying an opacity change, the program added a second sheep to the image (the one closest). The rest of the image remained untouched.
I have previously had double-exposure like changes but they were always of the whole image and more ghost-like.
