The Bob Marley One Love Experience has made its debut in London’s iconic Saatchi Gallery for a limited ten-week exhibition. It showcases unseen Marley photographs, memorabilia, video and much more. The stand out hilights for me include the vinyl albums (of course), the One Love Forest and the Shakedown Studios. It's unmissable really. Eternally thankful to the Marley family and all the organisers. Cedella Marley, CEO of Bob Marley group of companies says “We’ve been wanting to launch a Bob Marley touring exhibit for many years and we’re thrilled to see it come to life and debut in London, which had a very special place in Daddy's heart. The experience can be enjoyed by all generations and we look forward to continuing to spread Daddy's music and message to the globe” More pics coming soon come. Good vibes.

Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality . Wake up and live!

♫ Bob Marley – Three Little Birds ♫

Today is going to be an *awesome sauce* day! The entire family is gathering together to send my nephew Erik off to boot camp in style!! Rachel is here so we are all doing the *happy dance* I see that the title for the group today is "searching for the fountain of youth!" I can tell you, for a fact, that I found it right here on this beach with the three little birds, the sky, the sea and the sand!

~

"Don't worry about a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',

Smiled with the risin' sun,

Three little birds

Pitch by my doorstep

Singin' sweet songs

Of melodies pure and true,

Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:")

Happy "Beachy" Cliche Saturday!

2 of 2

same spot a life time later . . .

The big odometer rolled over to 09 - Slim Cessna at the Bluebird - it’s a tradition.

Get dressed up and take your chances - the stage was a wonder - the basement all sin and sentimentality. Couldn’t ask for more, wouldn't get it if i did.

My father left a long time ago - no big deal – i hardly knew the man. i got his ships compass and a Ruger single six, a beautiful piece that i keep wrapped in rags unloaded down in the basement.

New years day i slept till i woke - i get out the Ruger and take one bullet from a box i’ve been chipping away at for years. Then i fish around in the cupboard for that quart can of beef ravioli - Chef Boyardee - another tradition.

Out back i set the can on a hobbled lopsided chair up against the garage. The garage is brick, it’s mine, so what of it . . .

Ok Boyardee it's over for you – this is for killing my baby brother you fat fuck. i pull back the hammer - this ain’t target practice - it’s an execution.

BAMM

Right in the gut – he slams against the chair back and keels over oozing all tomatoy and meat - i notice the B movie splatter on the brick and his gurgled last bit of mumbling but i don't speak italian

the world seems amazingly quiet - a distant barking dog and that’s about it

i make a few new years resolutions and turn toward the house

Inside i pop the lid and dump the remains of chef fat fuck into a sauce pan - i believe in eating what i shoot

i shout out a “who wants ravioli” and from upstairs comes an “I do me too”

we’ll split it three ways - hunter/provider runs in my blood . . .

The door bell

It’s Jackie our positive thinking middle aged Canadian tango dancing fish oil researching next door neighbor

“did you hear anything a few minutes ago?”

like what?

“I don’t know. Like a gun shot. Sounded really really close”

i stand there with my steaming bowl and then fork a big one. i make a point of chewing slow with my mouth closed.

Gee i didn’t hear anything . . . . (so much for new years resolution number one) - want some ravioli? No? - well happy new year, let’s hope it’s a real good one!

She gives me a funny half smile and turns away

Marley and I encountered such a delight on our way to Chemanius on a backroad. I couldn't believe this when I saw these goats on a trampoline so I had to turn the car around and the owners were more than delighted to let us in to take photographs.

From the left, 2nd over is "ladybug" and 4th over is "Bob Marley", unfortunately I can't remember the others names!

24 Commemorative plaques - 120 pictures in 2020

Up to London today for a wander around, and spotted this plaque.

Our personal guide and armed militia scouts gather for warmth at our campsite in Gich Village, high atop the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia. Old AK-47s are stacked to the left as one scout plays Bob Marley's "Stir it Up" on his mobile phone as others listen. In the midst of such a brutal, rugged and cold environment, joy and warmth swept over the campsite. I quickly and quietly dug through my hiking pack for my camera to capture this wonderful and fleeting experience.

“If she's amazing, she won't be easy. If she's easy, she won't be amazing. If she's worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you're not worthy... Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.”

Both Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley spent some time in Essauouira where they're supposed to write some songs and enjoyed the living in the white Moroccan city. A little shop in the Medina of Essaouira is devoted to these musicians.

This striking mural, painted across the façade of the former “Banania” warehouse in Bordeaux’s Bacalan district, brings together bold colour, cultural homage, and collective memory. The unmistakable face of Bob Marley radiates above a landscape that blends resistance, nature, and industrial critique — with birds tangled in waste and fists raised in protest.

The building itself is one of several remnants of Bordeaux’s colonial past, once home to goods like cocoa and bananas sourced through the imperial trade. In 2022, during France’s National Day of Remembrance for the Abolition of Slavery, this fresco was unveiled as part of a “décolonial walk.” Art, memory, and activism collide on corrugated steel — a poignant reminder of what still needs saying.

Painted by: ZARB, BLEU, VIDA_MOKA, David RESONE, Loogees, Eggs, GZ, CROK & AWAY.

Kingston 12 is the zip code of Kingston's most famous neighborhood Trenchtown, made popular by Bob Marley's hit tune Kingston 12. Located in the western part of the capital city of Jamaica, Kingston. Trench Town gets its name from its previous designation as Trench Pen, thirty-three acres of agricultural land once used for livestock by James Trench, an Irish immigrant. The Trench Family abandoned the land in the late nineteenth century. It is a common misconception that the name comes from the large open sewer that runs through the neighborhood in the middle of Collie Smith Drive.

Community projects such as The Trenchtown Reading Association, set up in 1993, and The Trenchtown Development Association, set up in 1996, were formed to increase literacy and encourage government spending in the area.

Trenchtown is known in popular culture due to numerous Reggae musicians, including Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, but most notably Bob Marley, who spent much of his youth in a "government yard" (housing project) on First Street. His songs "Trenchtown", "Trenchtown Rock" and "No Woman, No Cry" make reference to it.

The Trenchtown Reading Centre was founded in December 1993 - a non-profit, secular, community based, and developed initiative - from the roots up. Library, School, and Community Cornerstone. A place where life is enriched by reading and learning. Emphasizing the exchange of ideas, critical thinking, literacy, education and life skills. Developed to encourage a broad range of educational activities and provide a place for community activities.

The Centre continually adds to its collection to provide a broad scope of material that is both relevant and accurate. The Centre provides countless children and adults with more, current, and otherwise unobtainable material, in a relaxed, welcoming and accessible environment. Laying a solid foundation to create the potential for personal, familial, and community well-being and growth.

Cost of livin' get so high

Rich and poor, they start to cry

Now the weak must get strong

They say, "Oh, what a tribulation!"...

Them belly full, but we hungry

A hungry mob is a angry mob

A rain a-fall, but the dirt it tough

A pot a yook, but yood nah nuff...
