I rarely apply a tint to my bw images, but it has been fun to come up with images to go along with Dylan songs :)

So no stranger does intrude"

Yes, my faithful guard dog and companion surveys his low tide kingdom.
He is standing at the height of 3 ft below sea level to view the depths of his valley which plunges way down to 8 ft below sea level...

The white birds, a symbol of peace, beautifully captured here, flying in different directions like spreading a message of freedom and peace. The blue sky and the blue water adding serenity to the picture!

Not literally! This is Blackroot Pool at Hartopp Gate, Sutton Park. All seven lakes in Sutton Park are called 'pools' as they were man-made in the Middle Ages to stock fish to help feed the local population. My last upload was taken in the woodland surrounding here.
Done in Topaz Studio with a texture of my own applied to add a touch of drama !
Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan
Hope you like my picture and the music I've chosen to go with it... one of my favourites. So long ago now... but still beautiful.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, and listen and perhaps remember... so appreciated.

…… No not my words but Bob Dylan’s! (See link) Perfect for today's Theme Shot for ’Smile on Saturday’, 'picture with added text'. Taken yesterday morning at Atcham on the banks of the River Severn. About a month ago the river was flowing ferociously and would have been well over my head - you can just make out a metal Pagoda up right, well that was virtually submerged back then!! Taken on my phone in Apple RAW & edited in Lightroom with Text added in Photoshop (I’m a complete novice in PS! but I managed it!!). HS😊S, Alan:-) ……..

Dear friends and contacts, my biggest pleasure here on flickr is to visit your streams and give a joy trip to my eyes. But that is not always possible, you know well how busy flickr can be. So, excuse me if don't see my icone everyday, that doesn't mean we are no longer friends, it simply means I am slow, if I manage to upload 1 image per wek I call it "high speed "(LOL) . So, let us forget this speed thing for a while and listen to Dylan'song, shall we ?

Let us smile and spread the smile : Smile a while and while you smile another smile and there will be miles and miles of smiles while you smile.
………Watch the river flow
Watchin’ the river flow
Watchin’ the river flow
But I’ll sit down on this bank of sand
And watch the river flow.

Yes, and how many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind

"Quante volte un uomo deve guardare in alto
prima che lui possa vedere il cielo?
E quanti orecchi deve avere un uomo
prima di poter sentire gli altri che piangono?
E quante morti ci vorranno prima che lui sappia
che troppi sono morti?
La risposta, amico mio, ascoltala nel vento,
la risposta ascoltala nel vento "
"How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind. "

It is just a church door, but the 'All Saints Church' is keeping many people away from Heavens Gate. People come here for food; socializing and some come for clean needles for drug injection. Toronto is tough city in winter and with Covid restrictions there are not many places to keep warm, sit or even go, when nature calls.

Shot at iso 640. The immense fog makes it look like noise. Havent found a workaround that problem yet.
Title from Dylans Mr. Tambourine Man.
On my computer here it looks a bit over the top in the high keys.. It did not in Lightroom. Maybee its a browser problem.. Or is it bad on your part too?

This was the association I got when looking at the image, of course with this famous song by Bob Dylan in my mind. Same gate as in the two previous images of this gate, but with a different twist.. Still fascinated by this gate and lock and what I could do with it by using different angles and a different framing ;). The song was written by Dylan for the sound track of the movie "Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid".

Not Dark Yet <----------here...=)
Shadows are fallin'
and I've been here all day
It's too hot to sleep
and time is runnin' away~~~~~~Bob Dylan
I hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea
Sometimes I turn, there’s someone there, other times it’s only me
I am hanging in the balance of the reality of man
Like every sparrow falling, like every grain of sand
