A few of the historic boats, including the 1885 lumber schooner C.A. Thayer, the 1914 paddlewheel tugboat Eppleton Hall and the 1886 square rigged Balclutha, on display at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
Just visited my favorite place in the neighborhood and yes the forgotten boat was still there.
Have a great weekend and thanks for your visit, comments, favs!

My final and own personal favourite from my recent shoot on the River Dee, the story behind this is a week before i photographed this boat and converted it to mono, i thought it looked quite good, so i had it canvassed, you may think yes thats good, have a good look at it on my stream and have a good look at this one, anyway the guy who is the owner of this boat was delighted when i said i would get him one printed, hope he likes this shot. The noticeable difference was the owner had only just painted the CH66 on the right side, you can see on the mono shot its missing.

Originally I thought this was a boat house because it looks like it is in the water. It has a chimney and windows though. It is constructed of wood and metal. The door seems to be too big for a house and too small for a boat. There are two buckets hanging on either side of the door. It couldn’t be a barn because you would have to take the animals through the water to get them inside. I’m stumped!
I have to find a picture of something that I can identify. There are just no write ups on these old buildings.
