1970 BMC Boxer 425 4x2 tipper registered PSS394H, untaxed since it was merely seven years old in May 1977. By complete chance my brother came across a post on Facebook with a photo of this lorry when it was brand new, sporting the livery of now long defunct Moncrieff Bros at the Haddington Festival in 1970. The Haddington signwriting is still legible on both doors. Seen here in a Scottish farmyard in November 2025.
Or Profesyonel as they spell it. BMC is actually British Motor Company, which was bought by a Turkish concern.
Unfortunately shot into sun, but a rare truck that needed a photo.
I think about a 1965 BMC LD5, 1.5 ton van.

The Municipal Corporation Building, Mumbai located in South Mumbai in Maharashtra, India is a Grade IIA heritage buildingopposite to the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminusat the junction of Dadabhai Naoroji Road and Mahapalika Marg. It is also known as the Bombay Municipal Corporation Building, or BMC building for short.
As the name suggests, the building houses the civic body that governs the city of Mumbai, which is now named the Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika (Marathi: बृहन्मुंबई महानगर पालिका) or the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and which has as its motto, "यतो धर्मस्ततो जय" (Sanskrit: Yato Dharmastato Jaya or, Where there is Righteousness, there shall be Victory), inscribed on the banner of its Coat of Arms. It is said to be the largest civic organization in the country and covers an area of 434 km2 (167.6 sq mi). Sir Pherozeshah Mehta and Sir Dinshaw Wacha prominent citizens were members of the Municipal Corporation.
An annual reunion of staff , from the former BMC-Leyland Australia factory . The plant occupied a huge area between South Dowling St and Joynton Ave , Zetland . From around 1950 till 1974 the plant designed , built and engineered cars for the Australian market .
The reunion incorporates a small display of cars produced by the factory on the site , which is now crowded with condominiums .
