This term is ocupied much to negativ in my opinion. Sure, even in this photo, when I was waiting for the sunrise, everything seems to be a bit gloomy and the bright colours are all missing. Blue notes are influenzing everthing and giving the scenery a special mood. But blues doesn't have to be bad per se and more of this it doesn't have to be something, we need to be fear for. Its telling us to hold and to give more attention more to ourselves. That way it will be much easier to see the streak of light at the horizon what is assuring us, sun will rise again today as well.

This capture I left in the other boats that were moving around anchored out in the open water. I also cooled this one down to keep the light from the town on the pier and boats from being too warm. Liked this cooler view ... in a blue mood today :))

New Hydrangea with a touch of green. Thanks for the look and have a great week

Late hour falls over the Margaret Todd there in Bar Harbor.

I "acquired" this beauty of a hydrangea bloom on my walk this afternoon :-)

Gentle flypaper processing.

Uma linha de azul fina e pálida traça

Um lago, sob o céu de porcelana rara,

Um crescente caído atrás de uma nuvem clara

Molha no vidro da água um dos cornos aduncos,

Junto a três grandes cílios de esmeralda, juncos.

Some of you may have noticed that the last few shots I've uploaded were all captured on the same day.

That was our summer holiday....

We spent a week up north - 6/7ths of which were blessed with horizontal rain but we were lucky enough to get one freakishly good day which we made the most of, but by late afternoon, the next front of low pressure was upon us.

Even my B&W shot of the boat at Inverasdale had to be cleaned up to remove a few rain spots from the filter.

Someone once said that the only difference between a Scottish summer and a Scottish winter is that the rain is warmer.

This view, with obligatory bonnie purple heather in the foreground, is taken looking out across Loch Ewe with Aultbea and Mellon Charles on the right.

I'm still amazed at how blue the sky and water is. No polarizer used, just a medium grey grad for balance and a bit of cloud structure.

Our last day and last shot of summer.

Summertime blues....there ain't no cure.

Many thanks as always for your welcome views and comments.

Here is a different view of Autumn, this is Ivy hanging its feelers in mid air, this was taken in my garden today, I was waiting for clear blue skies to give it contrast!

Missing the Sawtooths. One of Idaho's visual gems.

This was one fabulous morning. Naturally I hoped for lots of color and a great reflection. Instead woke up to rain and wind. Wonderful! Nice drama and power in those skies. Made for a nice blue hour shot.

A shot taken an hour, 40 minutes later when the sun arrived posted in comments.

Time for another mountain fix. Heading for Rainier National Park. First visit. Time to get up close and personal with The Mountain.

Thanks for taking a look.

Wonderful time at Rainier.

Now off visiting my father and family.

Favorite, and therefore busiest time of the year.

"Kallo is a beacon Mäntyluoto (Pori, Finland) front of the Kallo on the island lighthouse.

First lighthouse of the Kallo on the island was erected in 1884. First lighthouse fog signaling equipment was from 1901 from hand-to-use Hansen's sirens.

The current hardware elements assembled octagonal lighthouse tower and the splendor of wood on the side of the nurse home was built in 1903.

In 1906, the manual was replaced by a ball fog siren engines and compressors working with a siren, which was built in a separate machine protection. Fog horn was seven meters long and its jaw was three meters in diameter.

Lighthouse had two separate overlapping light device, which were identified by the differing red-white flashing lights. Light System was first amended on gas, and then an electric in the 1930s, and also the fog signal was replaced by electric equipment nautofonilla.

Cranial extension of the lighthouse and the red splendor of wooden housing is a Finnish nurse photographed lighthouses, the lighthouse Marjaniemi addition, it is the only lighthouse in which where you can drive a car."

Tiny Maldivian islands in the Indian ocean, always reminding me of fried eggs in a pan, with the colors slightly off... Although, could there be better colors?

And I think it is easy to see why the Maldives would be among the first victims of rising sea levels due to global warming.

Evening blue hour along Middle River.

New fallen snow made my garden lamp glow beautifully on this night!

Even though I worked last week, many of my colleagues were still on holiday so it was blissfully mellow. Today feels like the first real day back to work. So yes, it's a bit of a Blue Monday, which led me both to select this photo and to think of this song, Jeremy Fisher's "Goodbye Blue Monday": youtu.be/425dFdsP8_o

This shot is very nearly SOOC--I had the white balance set for indoors and forgot to check it when I walked out of my house and snapped a quick shot of these barren branches. I kinda like this happy accident.
