So after shooting a lot of pen pictures, I’ve decided on this for the Macro Monday posting for the theme of "in a bottle" for 4/17. i really like this blue glass bottle and I've decided that I'm not going to donate or recycle it, even though it has a chip out of a corner!! :)

I actually shot one I liked way better and was going to use it but upon reflection with the space around the duckies it was a hair too large and I just couldn’t do that. Even if I cropped it, it didn’t feel right. So this is a different paler composition with shadows…. sigh.

For Blue Monday.

Harbour view in the northern part of Amsterdam, with on the horizon the former NDSM Shipyard.

It felt so good to go on a trip even it was right here in BC not overseas (yet). Happy Blue Mondays.

Voyager en CB c'est bien aussi. Ici notre traversier en rencontre un autre dans le secteur qu'on appelle Active Pass.

This morning I went out with my new camera (so excited!) to make some test shots. At first some rowers came by, but I missed them given slow shutter speed. Then a biker appeared through the mist, I increased Iso and I tried to wait until he was exactly in the middle. Happy with the result :-)

My first stop after leaving the Octoberfest Yesterday, this pond it looked like it was out of a story book, its good to keep your eyes on the road while driving but once an a while take a peak at your surroundings you might find that Enchanting place, have a wonderful week ahead my friends:-)

Marlstone caves and a clear blue sky near Bemelen, Limburg.

Captured on the first leg of the Pieterpad long distance trail, a 492 km long hiking route going all the way to the Netherlands from South to North (or vice versa): from Mount Saint Peter (Sint-Pietersberg), Maastricht, to the small village of Pieterburen, Groningen.

Did this trail already once a couple of years ago, but then walked from North to South. Now on my way again, this time from South to North.

This pretty much summarizes my Monday...a little dark, hazy and blue...have a good one.

My inclination is to choose this one for the Macro Monday posting for the theme of “my closest” for 1/17. Yep, *sprinkles* on chocolate icing!! Very very very close-in because I used a clip-on lens for my phone’s camera. The tick marks behind the sprinkles are *millimeters*, so the one on the far right is 2mm….

There are 8 possibilities of subjects that I’ll post and then I’ll probably dither. My faves for the theme are ** starred:

**the texture of a ribbon

a rawhide knot

a coin,

a candle,

a ceramic cat

a colorful bow,

a mystery object

Of the two possibilities that I posted in my photostream for the MM group pool, I chose this one bc it was a closer view of the battery, which is actually about 8.5mm in diameter.
