It was a blue day in Sydney yesterday, for the final day of 2021. The sky and the ocean - it was all blue.
And it was all blue at The Coogee Surf Life Saving Club.
Situated on the cliff at the southern end of Coogee Beach.
The original building was constructed in 1910.
And here is a link to my favourite blue song from the 1980s.

Today was one of those days when the world felt too big and too bright. We all get them, those days when everything looks wrong. I tried the usual pick me ups: outrageously loud British rock, coffee, salty food, burning mandarin oil. All to no avail. I went driving looking for photographic inspiration. I drove 56 kms aimlessly till I found a lakeside spot. I took some shots and they looked lifeless. I turned the camera on myself. This is me by the lake feeling pathetic. I notice my eyes look a bit like I am smiling, but its really only squinting against the midday glare.
During that enchanting day, everything by the sea was ideal : not windy conditions, a blue sky with a bright sun , and an ideal September temperature of 21°C ! Not many people by the sea along the huge Oostende beach, not upsetting sounds, apart of the beautiful and appeasing sea-waves melody..It was a really perfect, blue, enchanting sea day!

No editing besides aspect ratio crop. Could have stayed in Ticino forever. Taken on a tripod during a two-day hike on a mountaintop only accessible on foot.

Lights and scattered clouds over Gwangchigi Beach and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak with horseback riding on the black sand beach in my frame, Jeju Island, South Korea.
The island was formed by the eruption of an underwater volcano approximately 2 million years ago. It contains a natural World Heritage Site, the Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes, and also a popular holiday destination, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeju_Island .

Have a nice day everyone! ❤️
