For many years these brown engines formed the backbone of the BLS rolling stock. Seen at Spiez.

Hinter den beiden roten Dienstwagen stehen die Am 843 503-4 und der Lösch- und Rettungszug (LRZ) der BLS bereit um im Berner Oberland Reise- und Güterzügen in der Not zu Hilfe zu eilen. Während die Diesellok im Freien steht, befindet sich der LRZ in der Halle des Interventionszentrum der BLS, welches auch der Feuerwehr Frutigen als Magazin dient.
