There are 2 yearling Sparrowhawks at this hide. This one has a problem with its left eye - the pupil is always small and irregular - I suspect it cant see very well on that side.
This will put it at a disadvantage in the harsh world but so far it has done okay.
Photography often shows the idealised or perfect version of things but real life isn't like that.

66103 is at the head of 4R50 Drax to Immingham discharged Biomass sweeping through the reverse curves at Godnow.
This is the electricity generating power station at Lynemouth in Northumberland. She was built in 1968 to provide power for the new Aluminium smelter which was built next door. She used coal from the nearby Ellington and Lynemouth collieries which was brought in by conveyor belt. Due to failing EC emission standards in 2015 she was told to clean up her act or face closure thus began the transfer to a bio mass fired power station.
The Bio Mass is shipped in to Tyne Coal Terminal and then transferred by rail.
In this picture we see 60085 slowly drawing her wagons through the unloader having just arrived with the 6N84 0500 departure from Tyne Coal Terminal.
Despite still being in Colas livery she is a GBRf loco.
This weekend I’m having a short solo break at Tuross Head, on the southeast coast of New South Wales, Australia. After a 4.5 hour drive on Friday afternoon, with the sky covered in cloud for the whole trip, I arrived at the house to a surprisingly unobscured view of the stars.
After unpacking, a quick meal break and a nature stop or two, I set off to shoot the night sky, stopping on the way at this little beach on the lake’s edge. Straightaway I could see blue sparkles in the water, meaning that I had won a round of bioluminescent bingo. As things turned out, the clouds you see on the right-hand side of my photo moved in and covered the whole sky within twenty minutes of my arrival. That would usually leave me grumpy and disappointed for the rest of the night but the beauty of the blue bio more than made up for the lack of stars.
This photo is a single-frame image that I shot with Canon EOS 6D Mk II camera, a Samyang 14mm f/2.4 lens @ f/2.4, using an exposure time of 25 seconds @ ISO 6400.

Sloooooowly uploading the bios for characters for my upcoming Grey Ghost storyline. Here's the first one!
Name: Xavier Black
Alias: Grey Ghost
Allegiance: Neutral- Xavier has a results-based morality, and will often assist both heroes and villains in their activities. He will also switch sides on a whim, often in the middle of battle, making him an incredibly unpredictable opponent.
Powers: Molecular Reassembly- Xavier has the unique ability to rearrange the molecular composition of his own body, and anything that is absorbed into it. This usually manifests as the powers to phase through solid objects on a whim, as well as an incredibly accelerated healing factor, letting him recover from virtually any injury. In theory, he can also shapeshift, but using his powers for anything other than phasing exerts an enormous physical and mental toll on him.
Equipment: Xavier's powers are many defensive, so he usually carries a pair of steel knuckles modeled after Roman cesti for use in combat. He will also occasionally use firearms.
Weaknesses: Magic/Psionic attacks- Xavier's powers give no defense against purely mental attacks, and magically enhanced people and weaponry (Such as Mayan Maiden when she is imbued with the Spirit of the Jaguar or a being wielding a Pure Fist scroll) can still hit him, regardless if he is in his smoke form or not.
Origin: The Grey Ghost is a brutal vigilante that first showed up in the Tri-City area 3 years ago. He is widely feared by the villainous community, due to his incredibly violent methods, but he has been know to team up with and befriend minor villains such as Velocitia and Poltergeist from time to time. He is one of New Blok's most wanted vigilantes, second only to the original Gothic in his brutalization of criminals.
Slight's commentary: The backstory feels kinda dry to me, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, bonus points to anyone who noticed what was going on in the background :P
