Friends meeting for a Binding Römer Pils which was a popular beer brand in the 80's. Nowadays, it's relegated to an unremarkable local brand. They even closed down the Binding brewery in Frankfurt a few years ago and now produce it somewhere else.

...of a copy of my dad's wartime diaries, written mostly as a prisoner of war, which I originally produced in small quantities for family and friends.

As luck would have it, several years later, another member of the same u3a photography group generously agreed to share his expertise and we published the diaries as a book in 2017, an emotional and proud moment for me.
