Jeff Carter is an Official Fujifilm X Photographer and was named as a Fujifilm brand ambassador in June 2015. In 2016 he worked with the company on the launches of the Fujifilm X-Pro2 in Tokyo and the Fujifilm X-T2 in Paris in July 2016. In 2018 he was part of the test team for the new Fujifilm X-H1. He also tested the X-T3 and XF200mm f2 prior to the public launch.

D-AHLS Boeing B727-89 Hapag Lloyd. Carrying "Happy-Lloyd"-titles, celebrating the last 727 leaving the fleet. Sold as VR-BRR. Later regs include N511DB, VR-BHN, VR-CDB, 3D-NJM and 9Q-CBF (slide scan from my collection - not taken by myself).
A lovely Brown-headed Nuthatch, Sitta pusilla, pauses for a brief moment on the side of a stone wall. The white on the beak and feathers is styrofoam. This little Brown-headed Nuthatch is excavating a nest out of the "rock wall" that is actually not rock, yet styrofoam. Weighing on 0.4 oz and about 4 inches long, guess they can fit just about anywhere to find a place to nest. The Brown-headed Nuthatch is smaller in size than the White-breasted Nuthatch as well as faster in movement and flight. Their small size is not represented in their loud and distinct "squeaky-dog-toy" chirp. When two of these Brown-headed Nuthatches get together the squeaks they make talking back and forth to one another is extremely comical.
These little guys are losing population, so if you live in the Southeast of the USA, please consider putting up a nest box for them. They make great neighbors with Eastern Bluebirds and can have nest box in the same area, just place no less than 30 feet apart. An Eastern Bluebird nest box can be converted to a BHN by placing a 1" hole converter over the current Eastern Bluebird 1 1/2" hole....or they will just use the Big Trees Forest Preserve sign:)

Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS): the articulated bus number 808 (Mercedes Benz O530G Citaro II Facelift BHNS GNV, registration CZ-464-YC) at the main railway station, working a service in the city line G.
While United's bus-seated REs tended to be in drab unrelieved red, at least the DP ones had some white relief. 6086 only managed its par score of 13 years with United, and was scrapped in 1988.
