The Waco Suspension Bridge, built in 1869 and spanning 475 feet, reaches over the Brazos River in Waco, Texas.
In between moves ..... with serious delays ...... but the good thing is that there is now some time again for Flickr-action and to fold and take photos ;-))

COMPETITION BETWEEN SEVERAL FLICKR FRIENDS FOR THE BEST FEMALE MALLARD IMAGE.
A very common duck found almost anywhere even down to village ponds and parks, this one was taken in rainy weather, and was just begging me to enter her as the competition candidate .

Lock to lock...... Brookfoot to Cromwell locks on the Calder and Hebble Canal near Brighouse in West Yorkshire.
It looked like the Narrowboat was having a problem has they were 'reversing' to the Lock and on my way back and hour or so later they were only in the next lock along (half and mile or so)
Postapocalyptic land.

Between Christmas 2022 and New Year's Eve we were in Naples/Italy. This anti-minimalist, but all the more documentary picture bears witness to that. Now that I'm mainly in Italy again, the publication fits.
This little flower was between the railway lines on the bridge that crosses the river Nene. Overnight rain had covered it with tiny water droplets that made it sparkle in the sun. I almost trod on it!

Mit dem Entwurf von "Between the Lines" wollte er nicht nur ein Museum bauen, sondern deutsch-jüdische Geschichte erzählen.

The architect Daniel Libeskind realized his first museum design with this zigzag-shaped structure made of titanium zinc with subterranean axes and inclined walls, which many others were to follow later. With the design of "Between the Lines" he not only wanted to build a museum, but also to tell German-Jewish history.
