After trying five times to photograph this location, I got finally my wished photo. The light on the sky and the mountain was perfect. The trys before, it was a cloudless morning with flat light or the sun was coverd by a layer of clouds.⠀

🇩🇪 Nachdem ich schon vier mal versucht hatte dieses Motiv zu fotografieren, hat beim fünften mal endlich alles gepasst. Zuvor war ich mit der Lichtstimmung nie zufrieden. Entweder war der Himmel wolkenlos oder die aufgehende Sonne wurde durch eine dicke Wolkenschicht verdeckt. ⠀

Today is a red day at Color my world Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is behind glass. So I decided to use my vintage glasses and my very pale tiny people. When i see people talking behind a glass, I always wonder what are they talking about…. Maybe they just met… maybe they are in love but for some obscure reasons, they must break up… maybe they just talk about their love for Nutella or gin and tonic… Or maybe they just ask themselves who the heck is that lady, standing on the other side of the window and looking at them very intensely ? Who knows ? Not me, I’m very bad at reading lips…

We were on a rocky beach on Lake Superior on the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan's upper peninsula watching the sunset. Turning around to move a piece of equipment, I saw this scene. I do not often photograph sunsets, but I learned to always look behind me.
Here's a photo of the iconic lighthouse bathing in the early sunlight, I got there by 5:30am and had the lighthouse all to myself and one other photog. Walking around and finding this small puddle, I was super happy with even just a partial lighthouse reflection.

This White Squirrel ran up the tree and then stopped at this spot to keep and eye on me to determine if I was a threat or not.

The was from 1926 until 1932 US Highway Rt 66. In 1932 a new alignment of the mother road was completed and by passed the old bridge. The new alignment is back behind the bridge with the car light trails going along it
The former giant At&T building, which stood empty for decades, at the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
The building was designed and built by AT&T during the Cold War, with the walls and floors made of reinforced concrete. It was built to take a nuclear blast and keep operating.
Today it has been turned into a regional dispatch center which handles local emergency calls.
What can be the reason behind flower favourites? (They fit your photographic style? Childhood memories? Fragrance? Perfect material in which to project your self?) These remain a favourite for me, Spring or Fall.
