Donald Tyson - Scrying for beginners
I was seriously tempted to buy this book. I has a complete "how to" section on glass-ball looking and "dark mirror" scrying in the way of John Dee. I'm interested into any serious way of exploring the unconscious, but I wouldn't have the patience for this.
The beginner's quilt along from Quilting Gallery.
The black and white is chitenge.
Chitenge is 2 yard pre cut African fabric. African women use is as wrap around skirts, picnic blankets and carying their babies on their backs. It's very affordable and come in all colors and prints.
Camera setting on this was for email instead of normal so it is a small avi when enlarged full screen is pixelated but shows why I am so pleased with the hull design. Once I had the spray skirt in place and had handed of my looseables it was time to see how the design would handle paddling into the incoming tide & winds, unfortunately, the vid seems to freeze up just about the time I got started. It was a short sprint when I realized I had forgotten to fasten my PFD & turned around to see how far I had actually paddled in such a short period of time & was quite surprised at the distance I had traveled. I was under the impression that short boats such as this are extremely handicapped on top end speeds. All the local observers seemed to gravitate toward the area I was paddling & once ashore curriosity seemed to get the best of them & the conversation about building kayaks was the end result. Being 3rd world and not having a canoe/kayak olympic team all paddle boats are canoes & most were impressed enough with its speed to coment on how fast that canoe is. The more I paddle this little boat the more impressed I am with its hull design!!!!
