I ran across this old shot from the Alaska Zoo and immediately thought of "Black Friday". You couldn't pay me enough to go shopping with all the "Crazies" out there on "Black Friday". It turns people into a mob. Sort of like this shot. This was all about dominance. Just a lot of snapping and growling. But, they didn't hurt each other. Unlike what sometimes happens in the shopping frenzy to grab the "bargains".
Just, my opinion. :-)
“Green and Yellow Tulip” — A yellow tulip begins to open, wiht some of its green bud color intact.
Yes, another tulip! I made a lot of photographs of these flowers on our early-spring visit to the garden of a historic estate on the San Francisco Peninsula. I won’t share all o them, but I do continue to release a set than includes different colors, settings, and states of development.
As I have previously mentioned, I particularly enjoy the appearance of the buds before they blossom, and I rarely photograph them once they are fully open flowers. This one takes me about as close to that final stage as I can go and still claim that it is (sort of) a bud. This specimen is ring on the edge of blooming fully, and we can almost see it opening up. A bit of the bud’s green color is retained, but the yellow of the flower is now predominating.

This year has been full of changes. I finished collage, started to work, stopped seeing a lot of friends, started and ended a relationship, and a lot more.
I think what has more "low" its the fact of working, 9 hours a day, from monday to friday, with little free time, when all i want to do is to travel, and live, escencially.
I really dont want to spend the rest of life working to others. But I know this feeling is normal (it shouldn't, but it is ) ,
So i try to focus on other things, like photography <3 I hope it always be a constant.
This was a spontaneous shot that I took when I was shooting an avenue of trees that wasn't really happening.
I turned round feeling a little frustrated just in time to see these beautiful beams of early sunlight cutting through the morning mist. I only managed a couple of shots and then they were gone.

Carnival has been heralded in already!
It actually takes place from the Thursday before Ash Wednesday..(20th of February) to the 25th... that is, the street carnival.
In fact the official opening of the carnival season is on the 11th of the 11th at 11 minutes past 11am of the previous year!
Then there are balls and events which only get interrupted by Christmas!
My "journey of a thousand miles” begins in this beautiful place, Tower Lakes. I spent (almost) this past summer back in Italy and I’ve come to realize that life has more to offer than staying at home. Too many things have changed in just one year abroad and I was surrounded by hundreds of new people that had a huge impact on me.
For the next year I want to travel and see as many things as possible in order to have a broad view of what this world has to offer me. I want to be shown new sides of things and wear different shoes everyday. I want to see great deeds passing from one hand to another, and to be one of the hands that are handing them. I’m young, and I don’t want to postpone the things I can do now in order to build my tomorrow because I want my present to be just as great as my future. And in this present, I want to be surrounded by people that can inspire me. I don’t know where this will take me, but I trust that it’ll be somewhere worth the journey.
PS. If you have to suggest me any great places for my travels in the US, please do it!
PS2. Say Hi to me if you haven't done it yet, I love strangers just as much as I love Flamin' hot Cheetos.

So I am taking care of a robotic baby for home ec, and I hate it. I'm going to have it until sunday afternoon. It cries like every 20 min. It will wake me up in the middle of the night too. Ughh..why did I do this. I think I'm going to get points taken off already, because when I picked it up It's head slung back and it started screaming..
Begin van deze middag vertrok er uit Gelsenkirchen Scholven een lege kolentrein van RFO naar de Maasvlakte. Einde van de middag arriveerde deze in Venlo, even voor 18u passeert deze door Deurne. De 2019 303 mocht de trein vol 'vierkante wielen' trekken naar de Maasvlakte.
Door buien eerder op de dag was het opvallend mistig, de luchtvochtigheid was aardig....

HMM..."Begins with A" Allsorts
Taken inside with the window behind me on a white Foam board using my phone light just above and to one side to give the Allsorts a highlight. All nonconforming allsorts were quickly dealt with, and where's Bertie gone.
Bertie is a nice soft black liquorice figure that you get in the packet his full name is Bertie Bassett he his the company logo and mascot, and mine was missing, the best tasting one too
Ter uitbreiding op de internationale markt heeft LTG Cargo Polska, 100% dochteronderneming van het origineel Litouwse spoorwegbedrijf, begin 2024 twee Vectron MS-locomotieven van leasemaatschappij European Locomotive Leasing "ELL" in dienst genomen.
Op woensdag 24 januari kwam locomotief 193 723 officieel in dienst bij de firma, gevolgd door de 193 509 op vrijdag 9 februari. Locomotief 193 509 beschikt hierbij over toelating voor onder andere het Nederlandse spoorwegnet. Dit in tegenstelling tot haar voorganger. Op vrijdag 16 februari kwam de locomotief onder licentie van Rail Force One voor het eerst naar Nederland met een graantrein uit Oekraïne bestemd voor de Osse Overslag Centrale, kortweg OOC.
Nadat de trein gelost was op de terminal van Oss, vertrok op donderdag 22 februari de trein weer leeg retour richting Oekraïne. Het is 12:13 als we de uiterst fraaie LTG Cargo Polska 193 509 met een sleep Financial Found a.s. "Sggrss" wagens beladen met 60 groene 20ft containers als lege graantrein 63170 de "Mastdam" in Rosmalen zien passeren richting Tilburg goederen, waarna de locomotief zal gaan omlopen en als trein 42539 zijn weg richting grensovergang Bad Bentheim zal vervolgen.
*De locomotief beschikt over het landenpakket Duitsland, Oostenrijk, Nederland, Slowakije, Roemenië, Polen, Tsjechië en Hongarije.

Hi everyone. Today I finally woke up with the urge to work on something new. I haven’t felt like taking photos or editing for months... mostly due to what’s been happening here at home.
I’m sure many of you are aware of the devastating bushfires that have been burning here for many months now. Our new normal has consisted of hazy orange skies filled with smoke and ash. And I’m not even situated in the places that have been impacted the most. Watching and hearing about our land and animals burning has truly been so heartbreaking and like many of you, I’ve felt helpless. Thankfully, we’ve had a week of cooler temperatures and rain which has been something we haven’t experienced since forever. However, the fight isn’t over, as our summer lasts for a while longer.
Thank you to all of those who have messaged me about donating to the charities I shared on my Instagram story a little while ago. I’ve left the links up on my profile in a highlight for those wanting to know more on how to help.
I wanted this piece to represent the regrowth we’ve been witnesses to for the past few days as a result of the rain that’s been falling. Hopefully we’ll be able to see some green again soon 💚

Freeway 1, also known as Sun Yat-sen Freeway (Chinese: 中山高速公路; pinyin: Zhōngshān gāosù gōnglù), is the first freeway in Taiwan. It begins in Keelung at the intersection of Xiao 2nd Road and Zhong 4th Road and ends in Kaohsiung at the intersection of Zhongshan 4th Road and Yugang Road, giving it a total length of 374.3 kilometres (232.6 mi). The Republic of China government named the freeway as Zhongshan (Chung-shan) Expressway in honor of Sun Yat-sen, the country's founding father.
The construction began in 1971. The north section between Keelung and Zhongli (now Zhongli District, Taoyuan) was completed in 1974, and the entire highway was opened in 1978. A 20.7-kilometre (12.9 mi) viaduct on top of the freeway between Xizhi and Wugu was completed in 1997 in order to expand the capacity of the road.
Begining of the year is always hectic and quite stressful in my job and yesterday I just had to get out of the office a bit earlier. I took Kaira and we went on my favorite spot. When we got there sun was already putting nature into sleep so we enjoyed last moment and after a while we got back to our "meaningful" lifes.
Using my 70mm for this shot, Was able to get this nice angle on the pier and stairs as the lighting continued to drop there along the river.
In addition to the pastel colors coming from the sky / sunset, I really like the lighting on the houses across the river with the varied types of lamp fixtures over there creating lots of other colors and reflections.

Groningen - Nederland / the Netherlands
De Vismarkt is een van de drie open ruimtes in de binnenstad van Groningen. Het is een langwerpig, rechthoekig plein. Aan de oostzijde wordt de markt begrensd door bebouwing die wordt onderbroken door het Koude gat en Tussen beide markten, aan de westzijde wordt de markt afgesloten door de Korenbeurs, met daarachter de Aa-kerk.
De naam Vismarkt wordt voor het eerst gebruikt in het begin van de vijftiende eeuw. Voordien stond de plek bekend als Langestraat. De naam verwijst naar het soort markt dat er regelmatig werd (en nog steeds wordt) gehouden.

In this picture I am holding one of my newborn twins Karissa. The idea for the picture is the beauty and wonder that a newborn brings to your life and the new life that is starting. Not just the babies, but yours as a parent as well.

D&RGW SD7 No. 5303, GP9 No. 5923, and caboose No. 01466 begin a busy workday at Provo Yard on a sunny May morning in 1975. The 5303 will switch the yard and pull a train of cars to Geneva Steel while the 5923 and caboose will pull a train of mine empties along the Tintic Branch to the dolomite quarry at Keigley.
