Oso Creek Trail

Mission Viejo, CA

A sign on the Metra tracks above Cortand and Ashland. I have no idea what this means. I wonder if this is some significant borderland for trains.

At the start of the Kulshan trail. Please Rebuild.

We got there just in time. It took for ever to find a parking spot. We where walking down to the lawn when we saw the police block of the road and the people yelling "GOO!" and they started walking. My family just walked into the road behind the leaders and began walking that one mile!

At least there's plenty of parking space out here. I didn't know it would be so wet today. I pulled off the road and got stuck and had to go back and forth to get out of the muck, then parked partly on the road hoping no one would side swipe my truck while I was away. They didn't.

This was my first time shooting local band Begin The End at Chinnerys, Southend. It was their first proper show and I was asked to go down and shoot it for them.

In the shade of a small fallen gum branch on an embankment in the Sellicks Ravine this female Amegilla (Notomegilla) chlorocyanea begins digging in the gravel. Hard going! and when the hot sun came around she gave up and hopefully found a better site!

you have one shot at generating new business. you place an ad in the city paper and carefully chose your best work to be featured in full color.

this is what you choose?

the designer of this ad has little to work with, certainly. though i do not forgive them for this typesetting. if we were licensed, this one should have theirs taken away.

this one resides on the wall of shame.

Daisy's first upload

i would just like to document the date when I began this Flickr account. Today is 29th of January 2012 and today I began to collect my lovely photographers, creative writers and wonderful illustrators to develop a basic blog of teenage hobbies and whatnot. I began to plan its topics and really look forward to the prospect of it going well. I hope you enjoy looking through our photo stream. So far, we have five photographs in the Photostream and a bit of work and contacts to gather!

Currant members are:

Daisy Lockitt (me, the person who organises everything in development and photographer)

Adam Dore (my boyfriend, sports photographer)

Polly Lockitt (my sister, writer and illustrator)

Lizzie wall (dandy friend of mine, model and photographer)

We have had sooo much rain here in the Pacific North West, but the Tulips held up, alas, they have gone for yet another year.
