One Morning

Must Bee Ready Early :)

After days of dull, grey, damp, foggy weather there was a storm approaching and it influenced things enough to give us a glimpse of sunlight right at the end of the day.

Down of Moutain Cù Hin Nha Trang Viet Nam

We have bad weather forecast so I wanted to capture these in case they ended up under the snow

Went out with my camera for the first time since the op. snowdrop criteria was that they had to be at waist height or above!

He had never before changed a tire on a bike like that so it took us over two hours to get the tire off and to put it on again, and then I am not talking about the time it took him to fix the tire. The main reason why we had so much trouble taking the tire off and putting it on again was because of the drive shaft.

Because I had to pay 150 dollars for the tow truck, which I did not think was much, consider how far I was from town, I was hoping that he would not charge me more than 100 dollars for the repair. Three hours after he started to work on my bike this man charged me 30 dollars. I was so happy with the price so I paid him 50 :)

Breakfast at Gotham Bagels with my parents and Sam. We had to go early because Sam had to go to work and my parents are racing back to NY from the West coast for my Aunt's Birthday.

This is my attempt to install keyless entry in to my 1994 325i convertible. Things could have gone more smoothly if the original owner hadn't removed a crucial connector and spliced all of the old wires directly.

Before shot of the office.

The tall green cabinet is an old Ikea piece that I painted. It's got books and reference materials for all my crafty hobbies, and the drawers hold photography stuff, sewing stuff and household hardware & tools. This is one of the few really practical and well organized areas of my apartment. Sewing machine is to it's left.

After seeing the before shot, some might think the post process was overdone but this was an idea I had in mind and I wanted to look a bit more surreal.

No one’s sure exactly when the word “bedroll” entered the English lexicon, but it definitely takes on a whole new meaning each year in Historic Downtown Mocksville as intrepid teams from across Davie County and beyond take part in the annual “Twas the Night Before” Bed Race!

Each team consists of four pushers and one rider, all at least 15-years-old, and the rider must sit or lie flat on the bed during the race. Themed clothing or costumes are strongly encouraged, even pajamas are great, but riders have to wear something.

Mike Dobies, Bill Losey, Dennis Herr, and Tom Corris chat before the start. Dennis mountain biked to the road crossing and river crossing, so there was no aid except what runners brought with them, and water from a spring and river about half-way around the loop. Bill and Mike had driven a long way to run 2 loops, but the trail and the weather had other plans...
