Redux, part 2 ?, let's do it again...
A couple of months back I posted "retour de la marrée". Our very good Flickr friend, Margeois asked me how I processed this one. I did a little tutorial using the next image I had of the scene for her. I was going to post this version back then. But, you know, the next shiny thing came along and then the next... Anyway, I polished it up a little more and here she is, a little further downstream towards the sea... 🐬🏊🐬

They love the salty marsh, and when the shorebirds become rare, you can almost always count on this bird which love the shore. I believe they look best at this time of the year under this light.

Buster is our rescue. He is the very best boy.
We adopted him 5 years ago. He was 3 at the time. I don't know his exact birthday so I gave him Cinco de Mayo. He celebrated with a scoop of frozen vanilla yogurt and a day at the beach.
The Beach Boys brought us so many joyful and memorable hit recordings for decades. One song, California Girls, came to mind when I saw this young woman on a Southern California beach. The surfing beaches and the girls were the subject of many of their songs.
