Sunnyside Bathing Pavilion is a landmark public pavilion in the Sunnyside lakefront area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built in 1922, its original function was to provide changing facilities for swimming in Lake Ontario,

A Spotted Towhee uses a small shallow puddle to engage in a bout of bathing. The bird was performing that essential behaviour in Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park on the east-central coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

Had a jaunt up to Howick this morning to photograph the bathing house, its been a while since I've been up there and certainly know what the swells are like with the waves, its a dangerous place to go alone, unfortunately none wanted to come with me so I was prepared to risk it, luckily for me I bumped into a couple of photographers who were my eyes in my back while we were there.
