My latest Barbie purchase is the cute fashionista #146 -- I rebodied her onto a mostly matching Made to Move body, and she's sporting a cute summery outfit from a new 2020 Barbie fashion pack.
We are trying to expand the "young crowd" over in Room 2, so this girl already has friends waiting for her. Now she just needs a name. :)

Barbie coffee flounced dress. It's made of a semi rigid coffee and champagne fabric. It is part of a complete outfit incliding a bag, a cardigan and a hair band.
No diffculties on sewing this dress, you can decline it to longer dress with a different fabric and it will make a perfect princess dress.

Barbie purple pajama. Short pajama made of strech purple fabric. Decorated with purple and orange ribbon.
Very comfy and easy to sew. The pattern can be used for sport outfits.

The amount of details in this doll blows me away.. wherever I look, there is something that will surprise me. Also back in 2006 Barbie was have such a cool cards with a photo of doll. I love her summer vibe. Together with Barbie Kentucky, they remind me of the coming sun :-)
I always wanted to create my own interior where I could take pictures. Add some realistic things for my Barbies. I'm slowly doing it :)) btw this Barbie is great! She will stay on this couch forever ;) and photo is a little different than my prevous, but I was have so much joy doing this photos.

I finished her hair. You can see what she looked like before in my photostream, I was not happy with her hair at all, so I gave her a boil perm, & this is the closest I could get to what she should look like.
At long last I have become Barbie!
Almost the same amount of plastic involved lol
Boobs could do with being bigger I suppose anyway lets not dwell on that.
Last night was really a mess around at home evening something I haven't done for a little while and something I love doing. the hair might get another outing or two once its been lived in and abused a little.
Now to the dress. I found this in a charity shop for a tenner it is a size14 with a corset back so I took the gamble thinking it would do up totally or tightly. it looked a little small on the hanger but a tenner it had to go home with me.
As luck would have it it does do up and is a good length so either I have lost enough weight to get into a size14 (doubt that) or this dress was a bit on the large size! Result if you ask me :-)
