"Every man is evil yes and every man's a liar
Unashamed with the wicked tongues sing
In the black soul choir"
Foggy morning enabling me to get a more mystical capture, having the boats on the horizon just appearing through the fog in the distance and leaving in the lone seagull...
Processed in Lightroom and getting some good contrast in the image, no filters used just wanted to time the appearance of the boats ahead to appear as the fog was moving around...
Banjo McFeelies (RL musician and performer) makes his SL performance debut THIS Saturday alongside SL veteran performer Phemie Garfield.
This is a show you don't wanna miss!!
Saturday, October 16th @ 4pm SLT
While the woollygirl enjoys a shady breakfast before the temps soar, Banjo the horse pokes his front leg forward several times to indicate, "Hey I feel like my carrot now.."
Gave me the chuckles as that's what MW does when she wants something too.
This was very early one morning last week.
Since then, we've had some ripper storms galore.
To my northern hemi F.pals ….. *sigh*… hope you are enjoying your winter… we're pining for the fjords at the moment…
… and yes, Banjo got his carrot shortly after this...
A brief flash of cloud and a tiny glimpse of colour in the sky, just before the grey drizzle flooded in. Banjo pier at Swanage

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. This guy was just sitting on the bench playing his banjo and was not obviously busking at all, with no receptacle for donations. I captured this candidly but we exchanged smiles after I got the shot. Enjoy!
Here's a bloke we passed when we were on holiday in Chester - he sounded brilliant! If only I could've recorded the sound too :~]
My good friend's Welshie is the unofficial therapy dog to more than a few. His lovely nature is a balm for the troubled soul. 💕
Another from the Banjo Pier at Swanage.
When I arrived it was raining with thick cloud and it did not look very promising.
Thankfully the strong winds managed to break up the clouds just before sunrise allowing some nice colour to come through making the trip worthwhile.

Thanks for any favourites and comments.
Ps. It was either clone out the annoying boats or sink them.
Last shot from my quick trip to Looe on Sunday evening.
This is an abstract shot of the banjo pier that sits at the entrance to Looe Harbour.
A Banjo pier is, funnily enough, a pier that resembles a Banjo, and the one at Looe was the first one ever made.
Having the drone lets me get some interesting views of things that most of us normally take for granted, I'm really having a lot of fun with it!
We stopped for breakfast just outside of Auckland, in the northern suburb of Orewa. We collected breakfast and coffee from a local shop and sat at a picnic table by the beach. The temperature was just right, the air was still and we watched all sorts of people (and dogs) going about their early morning business.
I am not usually much of a "people watcher", but it was quite pleasant to try it out this morning. A late middle-aged couple returned from the sea on their fishing kayaks, although as far as I could see they would not be dining on sea food today.
The highlight was the pleasant banjo serenade from this chap who was practicing diligently. I have never held one, let alone played one, but I believe they are strung and therefore played differently to guitars.
Bhí bean ag Joe
Is bhí banjo ag Joe
Is bhí banjo ag bhean Joe
B'fhearr go deo Joe ar an mbanjo
Ná bean Joe ar an mbanjo go deo.
Detail of the neck of a banjo that was hand-made by the great-great-grandfather (or “something like that”) of a mentally-challenged person I used to help take care of.
Hoje queria poder ficar assim.. um banjo, uma música...
Mas tá corrido ! Visitarei a todos mais tarde !
Boa segunda-feira e uma ótima semana a todos !
Parabéns, Eneida !
My first visit to the banjo pier for photography, and I was treated to a stunning sunrise on Monday morning.
This pier really works ideally as a dead straight symmetrical shot, and I did take plenty of shots like that, but the sun is rising to the right of centre and most of the colour was almost out of shot. Combined with the removal of benches from the left side and it struck me as unbalanced. Perhaps I'll process one or two of those and post one in the next day or two.
I was lucky enough to be out for another stunning sunrise this morning, one of the best I've seen this year, and I'm excited to look at those too. I can't wait.
In memory of our dear cat Banjo, who we lost last night. He was a member of our family for almost 14 years & his health had been deteriorating for the last few weeks.
This young 11 year old has only been playing the banjo for a year, but it sounded like he was born with it! Natural talent!

I say customer as I have been Plastering at there home on and off for many years.
They have become good friends in that time.
So last time I worked at there home I asked if I could take some photos of Banjo.
That's the story behind Banjo appearing here.

The Banjo Pier is on Swanage Seafront and was our first stop off on our weeks Photo-Tour of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset! It has the most interesting and varied coastline in the UK and possibly the world! this was on the incoming tide as we waited for rented accommodation to become available..... let the locations begin
