Bang Bang Shrimp is always a great appetizer at the Greenhouse restaurant in Simpson Bay (Dutch side of St. Maarten).

A visit to Trevose Head to witness Storm Amy's impact on the coastline.
We took the dog for a walk around Trevose Head on Saturday, the wind was ferocious and trying to take pictures was difficult as you were constantly buffeted by the wind.
My surprise was that the waves weren't as big as I had expected at Trevose, looking north or south along the coastline you could see huge plumes of water rising up as the waves hit the cliffs, there must be something in the make up of the seabed that impacts how the waves hit the rocks, or maybe the wind wasn't quite in the right direction to create the waves that I was hoping for.
Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable hour or so up there, I did manage to capture some waves hitting the coastline with a bang.
