This past weekend was nothing short of insane. Light junkies from all over the eastern US drove down to our home in Alabama for a three day balls to the wall light painting extravaganza. With very little sleep and loads of coffee we watched the sun set and rise every day.
This time lapse was shot durring the last night we were all together. It was an unforgettable experience.

Alabama had a decisive victory over Missouri for the SEC Championship: 42-13 !!!

Guess how difficult it is to get a 20 month old Macaw to slow down long enough to get this in focus. Could not use auto focus took to long, had to do it manually and get the shot off quickly. I like the little red eye feathers distinctive of Greenwing Macaws.
Cleaning up and found this shot (final posted below) of Aaron (Doctor Tongs) from the Bama meet up we had a few months ago. This guy knows how to work both sides of a camera.
