A #FlickrFriday entry. An early Kodak camera seen through the viewfinder of a modern DSLR. It took three cameras to get this picture!
Back to the future (or history) at the Lincoln Memorial. Make sure you drive 88 miles per hour and make Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown proud! For those not in the know this is in reference to the classic 1980s movie Back to the Future
The cherry blossoms have finally bloomed in Washington, D.C. and that made me a very happy man. I am now on my way home and will be posting photos very soon. Please accept my apologies for not getting back to some of your photostreams, in between photo ops with the President Obama and investigating the truth behind Area 51 at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (where’s Agent Fox Mulder) I have been preoccupied.
Talk about investigations, I have been on Flickr since 2009 and I finally stumbled upon the section on managing your testimonials (call me slow why don’t you). Much to my surprise, I found two flattering testimonies from:
Mike Culver (I still call him Mikul)
I am deeply appreciative of their testimonies. When I first started with Flickr I would view the photostreams of some of the top photographers and see their long list of testimonies. I always thought if I could achieve something similar to that I would be on my way to being on Flickr’s top ten photographers. Thank guys for making my dream come true. Now I can retire and cruise around in my DeLorean at 88 miles per hour.
Happy Travels!

Doc's garage is situated to the right and a little behind the large city hall building.
So here as i promissed finally the pictures
of the layout.
140 x 140 studs.
The whole last years work next to the other projects i finished.
Endless bricklink orders.
Endless hours watching the movie to get the things right.
Still a few things are missing i have to add until i propably present it at the LEGO Fanwelt event end of this year.
The part with the black tiles is still under construction with a few more smaller buildings, but for the last exhibition there was no space to walk around the layout anyway, so i saved some time building them.
This is my biggest layout so far.

Have fun dudes ;)
Rebuilt the rear section of my six stud wide DeLorean this weekend. The big change was I got rid of the wedges I was using on the sides and added bars in a sloping angle to try and replicate the rear/side window frames. Also added exhaust pipes, some dark gray framing around the tail lights and reshaped the glowing pieces.
A Paris, je passais devant une boutique de jouets pour adolescents et ce qui m'a surpris c'est ce contraste étonnant entre l'enseigne et la façade de l'immeuble style Haussmannien...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...no matter which new year you end up in.
Mounted a tripod on the back seat of the car, then set the shutter speed to stay open for 15 seconds. Then it was just a matter of driving, and taking a few shots with the remote.

A quick vignette using elements from my forthcoming LEGO Back to the Future video. The background and scenery is made up of my custom S.N.O.T. road, which you can see in some of my additional uploads.
