After waking up at beautiful Lake Katherine, we packed up camp and headed over Windy Pass to camp our second night below Puerto Nambe.

My new backpack finally came in the mail today. Sadly, my Quiksilver canvas backpack that I loved so dearly tore all the way across the bottom. This backpack is quite lovely, though, so I will proudly wear it on my back.
This backpack if for my little cousin Patric wh is five. I wanted to use fabrics that were a little more 'big boy' as he will be going off to school next year.
