One of the great pleasures of traveling with British Railways in the 1970's and 80's was sitting up front in a Diesel Multiple unit (D.M.U.). One could see exactly what the driver saw through the front windows (as long as the driver did not draw the curtain which could seal of the view).
Here we encounter an other D.M.U. on a junction. I am not sure about the location. It could be on board a Doncaster - Middlesborough - Whitby train.

R.I.P. MANEL SIRVENT i BORRAS
El Diumenge 7 desembre hem enterrat al Manel, tot un personatge del Casc Antic. En Manel regentava el Bar Zipi y Zape, del C. Avinyó de Barcelona.
Han sigut un esdeveniment força emotiu amb assistència dels clients (més amics que clients, és aixÃ) i els familiars.
En Manel era un gran tipus tan cÃnic com afectiu. Entranyable, amb el seu piano electrònic, la decoració del seu bar, les seves ensenyes del Barça, el seu carà cter corrossiu i ple d’humor. Amic dels seus amics.

Il n'aura pas eu lieu et le 20ème anniversaire est donc reporté à l'an prochain mais le 17 décembre, on y croyait encore !!
