Ο σήμερα τιμώμενος Άγιος Απόστολος Ανδρέας ο Πρωτόκλητος
είναι βέβαια γνωστός ως ο πολιούχος της Πάτρας.
Από τα βυζαντινά,όμως,χρόνια,ήταν και ο προστάτης άγιος του Ναυπλίου.
Υπήρχε μάλιστα μεγάλη βυζαντινή εκκλησία του Αγίου Ανδρέα από τον 8ο αι. μ.Χ. στην Ακροναυπλία η οποία κατεδαφίστηκε από τους τούρκους κατακτητές το 1540 και στην θέση του κτίστηκε το τζαμί του πορθητή.
Τα ξημερώματα της 30ής Νοεμβρίου του 1822, ανήμερα της εορτής του Αγίου Ανδρέα, μετά από ηρωική ενέργεια του Δημητρίου Μοσχονησιώτη,ο ατρόμητος πολιορκητής της Στάϊκος Σταϊκόπουλος απελευθέρωσε την πόλη από τον τουρκικό ζυγό.

Deep into the forests of the region of Värmland in Sweden, lies this well-hidden car cemetery. Hundreds of cars from the 40s, 50s, and 60s are spread out in the area, some of them covered with moss, with trees growing through them, stacked on top of each other or placed side by side. While it has not been confirmed, many of the cars are said to have belonged to the US military who left the autos after World War II.

Today I became nine years old.
Nine is now my new favorite number.
When this photo came up on the home screen, we knew it was the B9 shot we wanted for my birthday. It honestly shows (in the right light) how my face has changed over the years-Dad had a word for it but I forget-and it also shows nine years of wisdom in my experienced eyes, and a bearing that exudes the confidence of a canine at the heights of happiness and health-who shook off three injuries this year like they were yesterdays burrs and who!-
"Don't let's get caught up in it all, Clancy."
-Oh...hey, Dad, what was that word you used earlier about my face?
"Magnificent."
I don't know what that means, but I like the sound of it, and you can have it as the last word.

What a wonderful coming surprise is Siberian white crane at Taiwan of northern.
What a great landing December 13 2014, in New Taipei City water wetland located Huangsi the seafront with Chingshui Interchange estuary wetlands until now.
From birding report we know the Siberian white crane, endangered worldwide is estimated that only about 3500 to 4000 is precious now.
The Siberian white crane of juvenile, aged about one year old, head and neck golden brown, body length of about 120 cm.
Local governments have made some protective measures, Open daily 10am-4pm, the opening hours of non-disabled access,
Compliance with the precautions will be cut according to the Animal Protection Act NT $ 6-10 million.
However, so far so good, wish all best for white crane.

Another day...another livery....latest is "Pride of the North" a genetic livery for pool buses which can be used at any depot...i make this the 12th current livery at Harrogate..... 421 the only B9 in this style is seen in Wetherby on the 771 from Leeds to Harrogate via the villages.
Littles of Ilkeston ADL Enviro 200, fleet Number B9 / SN65OFB is seen working a 140 service to Alfreton, 02/06/2023. This vehicle was new to the company back in 2015.
