On Thursday July 14th the first of two new Volvo B8Rs with MCV Evora bodywork, entered service.
A couple of days later, 25 was noted working the 40 between York and Easingwold. During what is reported to be the hottest ever UK heatwave.
Here number 25 is seen heading towards Easingwold, while working the 13:59 from York to Easingwold. After a few minutes in the North Yorkshire town the bus returned to York, as the 15:10 departure. Number 26 was busy being wedding transport for a happy couple in Burnhall, along with a vintage motor car.

SB19 GKF is a Volvo B8R/Plaxton Leopard new to Lothian Buses in April 2019 as their 9202 for their Lothian country fleet. THe batch of 8 coaches work express services to Bathgate and Linliyhgow which are marketed as Green Arrow. The coaches also carry small Scottish Citylink names as tockets can be purchased through Citylink agents.
Seen departing Buchanan Bus Station on sevice 926 to Campbeltown is one of two new West Coast Motors Plaxton Elite bodied Volvo B8R. 12107 - W100WCM.
New to Lothian Country Buses (LCB) and have been used by Lothian Motorcoaches without change to original base livery. Now all traces of LCB livery removed and prepared for painting into Lothian Motorcoaches livery.

Seen on Hailesland Road in Wester Hailes is three of Lothian Buses new MCV EvoRa bodied Volvo B8R.
At the front is 90 - SJ70HPA with 74 - SJ70HNK and 83 - SJ70HNV at the rear.
Seen in Musselburgh is Lothian Buses' brand new MCV EvoRa bodied Volvo B8R 81 - SJ70HNT on service 30 to Clovenstone.
Sunsundegui Astral con chasis Volvo B8R de Transportes Generales Comes. La unidad que vemos, 545, pertenece a la serie 542-549, para renovar principalmente en la base de Algeciras a cinco Noge Touring Intercity Sub (448-453), pero también incorporaron algunas unidades a la base de Cádiz.
Estas unidades procedían de la empresa Damas de Huelva, que las dio de baja de forma muy prematura, con menos de dos años en circulación, debido a que no obtuvieron los resultados previstos.
Esta unidad, era el coche 318 de DAMAS, matriculado en Febrero de 2014.
En principio se destinó a la base de Algeciras, la vemos en Cádiz el pasado 2 de Julio de 2020, realizando la línea M-040 del Consorcio de Transportes de la Bahía de Cádiz, que une Cádiz y El Puerto de Santa María.

Seen at Westside Plaza in Wester Hailes is Lothian Buses' brand new MCV EvoRa bodied Volvo B8R 78 - SJ70HNO on service 30 to Musselburgh.
HSK 650 is a Volvo B8R/Plaxton Elite new to Park's of Hamilton in March 2022.
It carries Scottish Citylink livery with 6 cities branding and is seen here in Edinburgh on service M90 to Inverness.
Scottish Citylink commenced their new 902 service on Monday 6th March connecting Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport with Coatbridge, Airdrie and Livingston.
Park's of Hamilton have three diagrams on the service with Edinburgh Coach Lines operating the fourth working.

YX19 MRV is a Volvo B8R/Plaxton Leopard C72F new to the Borders Buses fleet in July 2019. It is currently out stationed at Peebles for school contracts.
YX18 LJZ is a Volvo B8R/Plaxton Panther new to Ratho Coaches of Newbridge in May 2018.
It was repainted into Scottish Citylink livery in 2023 and is seen here on Princes Street in Edinburgh operating Scottish Citylink service 909 (Dunblane-Edinburgh).

Park's have repainted some of their Volvo B8R/Plaxton Elite coaches into Citylink livery for the 2023 season that were previously in allover white or Harmony Holidays livery. HSK 646 is seen here in Edinburgh on service 900 from Glasgow. Park's will also have diagrams on the new Citylink service 902 (Glasgow-Edinburgh Airport) via Coatbridge, Airdrie and Livingston.
Sanders Volvo B8R MCV Evora BV21 00D arrives at Sheringham Railway station with the Coasthopper service from Wells to Cromer. I am not sure How long they will remain in such pristine condition,at Webourne a branch from a overhanging tree knocked the wing mirror round and at serveral places the bodyside was being scratched by roadside vegetation.
